Steven's POV

I've been doing all kinds of stuff for the past few weeks for Toni to feel and even notice that I like her but, every time I would, nothing seems to affect her. 

Did she notice it already? Doesn't she care or is she already aware?

I don't really know the answer to that because she acts unbothered whenever I do things for her — not that I want her to be annoyed with the things I do for her but, yeah.

"What are you thinking about?" I suddenly snapped back to reality when I heard Josh's question. "It's probably about Toni again" Vince muttered as he was reading a book. "I just don't know what to do anymore" I groaned and buried my face in my hands. "Why? What's wrong?" Alex asked.

Toni was asked to run an errand so Alex was alone with us.

"I don't know if it's just me or what but, I don't think Toni pays attention to my actions for her.." I paused. "I'm not sure if she just doesn't notice it or is just ignoring those actions" I continued.

There were a few minutes of silence.

"Maybe you should just go and confess" Alex suggested. "Yeah. I think it's about time you confess, bro" Josh said, agreeing to what Alex suggested. "I agree with them. You should confess already cause Toni might be confused with your actions since you haven't confessed to her yet and probably that's the reason why you think she's ignoring the things you do for her" Vince added.

I thought about it for a while.

Maybe I should go for it.

Better now than never, right?

I have nothing to lose anyway.

We only live once.

3rd Person's POV

"So, what's your plan now?" Josh asked as soon as Steven and Toni arrived at the school.

The girls were walking ahead of them, talking about something which was a chance for the boys to discuss how Steven would confess. Alex, Josh, and Vince talked about doing so when Steven and Toni weren't with them yet.  

"I'm planning on confessing to her today. After class." Steven sternly said. "Aye! That's the spirit!" Vince exclaimed enthusiastically. "Good luck" his friends stated and patted his shoulder for support. 

After Class

"Where's Toni?" Vince asked as soon as they've approached Alex who was fixing her things. "Sorry guys. I couldn't get to stop her since her mom called" Alex apologized with a pout. 

Josh and Vince looked at Steven who sighed. 

"There's always next time, dude. You can do it tomorrow" Josh exclaimed to which Alex and Vince agreed.

"She's at the library. You can go confess to her now. Don't wait after class" Alex informed and encouraged Steven as soon as she found them sitting on a table since it was their lunchtime. "You surprised me" Vince coughed as he almost choked on his food. 

"Woah. Isn't this too sudden? Can't I just do it after classes?" Steven said as he too, almost choked on the food he was eating when Alex suddenly popped out of nowhere. 

"Why wait? Don't lose the chance, Steven. Go, before it's too late" Alex stated as she forced Steven up from his seat and push him gently to go to Toni. His friends nodded and signaled him to go. Steven gulped down water before clearing his throat. He stood up tall and went ahead to the library with his things.
