Chapter 9

**Natashas pov**

Where are Loki and the new girl? Hopefully, she joins the team. We could use some more girls around here. Especially since Pepper is off somewhere running Stark Industries. From what I hear from Thor and Loki she is a good fighter but I'm not so sure. She has some pretty cool powers though. We could use someone like her.

**(Y/N)'s pov**

 Thor led us to this big room. It had white walls and a big table in the middle. There were 6 people around the said table. Nervously you clung on tighter to Lokis arm. Smirking he shook me off his arm and wrapped it around my waist. Sighing I leaned into him more. I missed the feeling of his arms around me. Inhaling his scent I smiled. He still smelled like winter and pine. His scent always calmed me down. Smiling I snuggled into his side. Completely forgetting our audience.

Hearing a chuckle from somewhere in the room I quickly looked up. A man with messy brown hair and a goatee looking 

"So reindeer games finally got a girlfriend has he?"

"Reindeer Games?" I asked confused.

"It's nothing darling just a term Stark simply calls me ."

"Oh OK," I said and snuggled into his side. His chest rumbled as he chuckled lowly. I smiled against his chest. It felt so good to be in his arms again. It felt right. I slowly felt myself drifting off to sleep again. Closing my eyes I let the darkness swallow me.

**Loki's pov**

Stark was talking about letting (Y/N) on the team only if she wants to of course. 

"So (Y/N) what do you think about joining? (Y/N)?" looking to my side I noticed that she had fallen asleep on my chest. Chuckling I lifted her into my arms careful not to wake her up. Taking her to my room I gently laid her on the bed. 

I turned around to leave but she clung to my hand. Smiling I laid down beside her and cuddled her close.
