Chapter 5

**(Y/N)'s pov**

I don't know why but I love my necklace. My guess is that it belonged to a old lover of mine before I lost my memory. I wish I remembered my past. But for now I'm not letting anyone get my necklace.

I conjured up my wall of water and kept it behind me.

"I am (Y/N)(Y/L/N) queen of Atlantic ocean. Ruler of all mermaids and Princess of Assgard. Think twice before you attack me."  I said. Where had those words come from? I had never said them before. My confusion caused my powers to drop. My wall cascaded down.

Immediately the raven haired man rushed to my side. He looked at me with adoration and something else. We locked eyes and the world faded away. I was memorised by his green eyes. My heart did a weird fluttery thing. It felt as if a thousand butterflies filled my stomach. This was exactly how the others described love. Was that it? Had I fallen for a man I just met? Oh god. This was bad.  I moved closer to him. Him approaching me at the same time. We were almost in each others arms. Before I knew what was happening we kissed. It felt like the greatest thing in this world. For as long as I can remember I've never had a lover. Some had made moves but it never felt right. Until now, until this raven haired man.

He pulled me towards him and I wrapped my hands around his neck. He inturn wrapped his hands around my waist as we deepened the kiss.

We broke apart when we heard a loud cough behind us. He pulled away looking annoyed. I turned to see 6 very angry people looking at us. Why can't they leave me alone to be with my Loki? Wait Loki. How did I know that name? Had we met before? I gave him a questioning look. He just nodded and wrapped a hand around my waist and teleported us to his room.

**Loki's pov**

I teleported us to my room. Mainly because I wanted peace when I explained everything to her. After we teleported I said

"Ask any question you want"

"Why do I know your name and why did that kiss feel so right?"

"We used to be lovers but you were banished and your memory erased"

"Is there any way to get my memory back?"

"There is a way but its gonna hurt."

"Just do it"

At these words I motioned for her to sit on the couch. She followed my orders and sat down. I sat in front of her and started working on her memories. At first it went well but after 15 minutes she started screaming in pain. I started to stop but she motioned for me to continue. Reluctantly I did so.

Her screams echoed around the tower and not long after the rest of the team came barging in to see what the commotion was about. They started to question me but Thor wordlessly dragged them outside. He knew that if the spell was disturbed we would most likely die. As the hours passed more of her memeries came back. I rewatched all the times we had together from her point of view. Including our last day together.

While I was working at her memories I noticed that some of her memories had been altered with. Some were entirely false. I removed the magic around these memories as well. I saw images of torcher and lastly four numbers. 1289 What could they mean? The process was almost done. I removed the last trace of magic from them and removed my hands. (Y/N) immediately passed out from the strain. I carried her to the bed and laid her down on it. Then I snuggled into her. "I love you" I said before falling asleep.
