Lavina brushed the loose hairs away from her face and took a glimpse at her figure. Her body was adorned with a black body-con dress, a small silver necklace embellished with a forrest green gem. Lavina looked gorgeous, her hair curled to perfection whilst her make up was done flawlessly. Tonight was a night to make her forget of her worries, to get rid of the sinking feeling in her stomach. Lavina could already hear the others in the common room, they were all eager for the party to begin and what drama will be ensued.

"Do you think." Flora hesitated on her words for a moment. " Do you think that Ron will be there tonight?"
Lavina turned around in a flash, an astonished look on her face.

"You fancy Ron Weasley?" Lavina shouted in a whisper, her hand finding itself covering her mouth to keep out the giggles.

Floras eyes widened, "Do not be daft Lavina! I was only curious of course!" Flora turned around, but not fast enough to hide the bright red tint on her plump cheeks.

"You fancy Ronald Weasley and you think you have no business telling me? Absolutely not Flora Lupin-Black, all the details, now." Lavina insisted, sitting down on the bed occupied by at least ten different outfits.

"I don't fancy him Lav, i'm just looking for a distraction, besides him and Granger have a weird thing going on." Flora said, not a glimmer of hope in her tone.

Lavina sighed, "It seems as if everyone in this castle has a weird thing with a Weasley."

Flora nodded her head at the girl who picked at the loose thread on a random blanket. Lavina needed tonight, she deserved it even if the situation seemed small, it wasn't to her. Commitment was a big thing, and Lavina wasn't a commitment type of girl.

"Come on love, party's started." Flora grinned, grabbing Lavinas hand and pulling her out of the dormitory. Most of the Slytherins were already at the party but a few lingered in the common room, pre-gaming for a night full of fun.

The girls snuck out into the abandoned halls, meeting up with Octavia on their way. "Did you know Mattheo is going to be there, Octopus?" Lavinas teasing voice echoed.

Octavia rolled her eyes. "Mattheo has a weird fixation on you Lavina, he hardly knows who I am."

"Doll, I can assure you, anything Mattheo says to me is only to be taken lightly. Besides, how could he ever know you if you two barely ever speak?" Lavina said before she told the password to the painting of the fat lady.

The party was in full motion, the room smelled of sweat and fire whiskey. Lights flashed and music boomed, the sight of teens on top of each other flooded Lavinas vision. She spotted Draco and Harry in a back corner, practically snogging each other's faces off. She was glad Draco was letting go, even if it was just for a night. Lavina took another look around, she spotted Fred Weasley already looking at her, a bottle of alcohol resting in his hand. He smiled at her, which she returned to him respectfully.

"I want to get drunk, who's with me?" The other girls agreed with Lavinas statement.

Shot after shot, Lavina was absolutely shitfaced. The girl was dancing with anybody who wanted to. Lavina could barely hold herself up, her legs swaying and the world seemed as if it was turning too fast. Lavina didn't know exactly what she wanted to forget, but surely she had done it.

Lavina found Fred Weasley sitting on the couch, accompanied by George and Lee. The three of them laughing at whatever joke George had said, they all drank from cups of whatever they were having. Lavina was glad Angelina wasn't there, her legs pulled her body towards the certain ginger, even though the rest of her that was trying to remain rational, screamed for her to turn around and busy herself elsewhere.

"Fred Weasssley!" Lavina shouted over the music, her words slurring. "Just the man.. i-i was looking for!"

"Lavina?" Fred placed his cup on the table in front of him as he stood up. "Darling, are you alright?"

"Do not darling," She stopped as she hiccuped. "Dooo not darling meee.. Weasleyyy."

She held a finger pointed at his chest, her eyes glazed over. "You're drunk Lavina, why are you so drunk?"

"You! I-i wanted to forget, that, that you kissed me. That obviously didn't work." She was a mess, her makeup was smeared and her hair was frizzed. "I wanted to have sex with you too, hot and steamy never before kind of sex, but I was scared that you didn't want me for anything b-but sex. Annnd, i've thought about it loads of times even, i've imagined it in many different ways!"

Fred tightened his jaw. "Darling I would never do such a thing."

"I know! That's my issue, why Freddie, why are you so nice?" Lavina unknowingly let a tear fall from her eyes, Fred wiped it with his thumb as he looked at the girl with pity.

Fred softened his gaze. "I don't know who broke you Lavina, but now is not the time for this conversation, let's get you to bed yeah?"

Lavina nodded, letting Fred lead her out of the common room and to the dungeons. He muttered the password and entered the dark and empty area. Lavina was relying on Fred to keep her up right, it was taking everything in her not to spill the contents from her stomach all over the ginger.

"Drink this darling, it'll get lessen the effects from the whiskey."

Lavina accepted the concoction gratefully, drinking the liquid all too eagerly. "Slow down tiger." Fred snatched the flask from the girl who gagged at the taste. In minutes Lavina's head was clearing of some fuzzy feelings or actions that would take a lot more liquid courage to do. Immediately she remembered what a fool she had made of herself minutes ago.

"Freddie I am so sorry." She scrambled to her feet to the other chair and away from the boy who just laughed.

He stood up from the chair. "Hot and steamy never before kind of sex huh?"

Lavina groaned, "Merlin, I am such an idiot."

Fred smiled at her embarrassment. "I wouldn't be opposed to the offer now, darling." Lavina threw one of the decorative pillows at Fred who caught it with ease.

"Sit down Lavina, you're not off the hook yet." Fred spoke half jokingly, taking a seat on the chair Lavina was next to. She joined him, it wasn't a necessarily awkward silence but it surely wasn't comfortable either.

"I'm sorry Freddie, I was making a fool of myself and I'm so embarrassed." She made eye contact with Fred, he was so close to her she could faintly feel his breath on her face, it smelled of cinnamon and mint, a smell so heavenly she wished to smell forever.

Fred's laugh echoed loudly, "You have no need to apologize for anything Lavina. I just want to hear about these little day dreams you have about us."

"You are such a prat, Weasley."

"No no, come on I really want to hear what you've got planned in that creative mind of yours." His voice lowered to a tone that sent a shiver down her spine.

"I guess you're just going to have to find out." She said before connecting their lips.
