𝐊ings Cross station was bustling with muggles, some running feverishly to their train while others stood idly as they had arrived too early. Lavina and Draco Malfoy had just arrived, a graceful smile lacing Lavina's features and a dull grimace on Draco's.

"Lighten up, little brother." Lavina smirked as she nudged Draco in the stomach. He scrunched his nose in annoyance and picked up his pace to the platform.

Lavina giggled quietly to herself, slowing down to look around the station a bit more. Lavina always admired the muggle world a bit more than her kind did. The Wizarding World had just recently started using more modern technology and giving up on their dated ways.

Lavina loved the ability to do things more like muggles, not that magical ways were harder, but she loved the simplicity of things. Her family always gave her a hard time on her views of muggles. Times had changed yet her family just simply couldn't let go of their conservative values.

Lavina felt the faint buzz from her phone and pulled it from her pocket. The bright screen showed the contact name of Fred Weasley. She felt her heartbeat quicken and a faint blush spread upon her face. The dark haired girl clicked the green accept button and waited to hear his deep voice.

"Lavi." She heard, but it sounded a bit far.

Lavina spoke clear enough, just for the ginger to hear "Freddie?"

"Do you mind telling me where all my jumpers are?" Fred picked his phone up, his voice seeming closer.

Lavina's mind had gone blank as his heavy breathing was heard through the speaker. "Lavi? You alright there, darling?"

"I- erm, yes, um.. what was it?"

"I asked about my jumpers. It seems a certain thief has stolen all but one, conveniently all before school." He laughed, a sound so melodic it made her heart skip a beat.

Lavina cleared her throat, trying to regain composure. "Well, do ring me when you discover the thief, because I would love to have another one of your jumpers."

"Lavinaaa.. darling I need them." She smiled brightly at the pet name he always seemed to have ready. Hearing him say her name was something she wished would go on forever.

"Freddie, you know I can just simply sneak into the Gryffindor common tonight and loan you some."

"Loa- Loan? Lavina they are my jumpers!" Fred practically shouted at the girl, however, in a joking manner. Fred Weasley was a sucker for Lavina in his clothing and there was no doubt about it.

Lavina sighed dramatically, catching the view of an impatient Draco standing near the platform. "See dear Freddie boy, your clothes are my clothes so cry about it."

Fred chuckled. "Yes whatever, but I would appreciate a few of my jumpers back, darling."

"As you wish, I expect them to be returned at some point. Get here soon though Freddie or else you'll miss the express and won't ever receive your jumpers." Lavina spoke before arriving at Draco's side who scrunched his nose at her presence.

"See you soon darling." Fred spoke, then Lavina ended the call after bidding her goodbyes.

Lavina and Draco walked through the passage way and the bright red Hogwarts Express flooded their vision. It hummed with noise and steam floated all around. Young and old witches and wizards surrounded them, hugging parents a bittersweet farewell, greeting friends hello, and others heading onto the train.

The platform wasn't very packed with people as Lavina always liked arriving earlier than most so she could score a good seat for enough of her friends to be sat in. It was exciting to see all the joyous faces of new students arriving. Lavina found comfort in the walls of Hogwarts, and she knew these students would as well.

"Hello, earth to Lavina?" Lavina heard the loud voice and turned to her brother.

She raised her eyebrows. "Yes, princess?"

"Mattheo said he's already got a seat for everyone and for you to meet him, I'm gonna go grab Zabini and Parkinson." Draco mumbled while he typed on his phone.

"Parkinson? I thought you two broke it off, because of you know, Potter." Lavina said as she tugged on her stolen jumper from Fred.

Draco shot his head up. "Potter? Please, I would rather listen to father talk about blood supremacy than be near that git."

"Draco, you literally came in my room two weeks ago while Fred and George were over to complain about how he left you on open." Lavina snorted at the expression on her brothers face.

"Oh sod off." Draco grumbled, pushing past Lavina and making his way towards a lovesick looking Pansy.

"Aw, young love." Lavina had mumbled before heading
off to find Mattheo's compartment.
