Elsa's POV:
I went back home, it was already 10:56 pm. It was very late and I don't think I'll be going to work tomorrow. I remembered that I didn't bring my car so I walked home, in the freezing air. Honestly, I was never bothered by the cold, I rather enjoyed it more than the heat.
Once I got home, I used my key to open the front door and was greeted by a worried Anna. "Oh my Godness, Elsa." She ran up to me and embraced me, tightly. I laughed sadly and hugged her back just as tight. "You went for a walk at 7, I didn't think you would come back this late."
I giggled half heartedly hoping she won't notice, but Anna knows me too much. "Elsa? Is there something wrong." She asked concerned. My eyes started to water and she immediately hugged me again, rubbing my back gently to comfort me. I started sobbing on her shoulder just playing through the earlier events that has happened.
"Elsa, you could tell me. Maybe I could help you?" She asked as we broke apart.
I nodded unable to form any words while sniffling. She led me to the couch and we sat down. "Tell me." She urged with worry. I gave her a sad smile before starting.
"Before I decided to go to the park, my boyfriend Hans called if I wanted to go to his house. But I said no because I had other plans." I started. Anna kept nodding her head for me to continue.
"So, when I arrived at the park, I was thinking of Mom and Dad. About the accident, our family, everything. Then I saw Hans at a parkbench-" I was cut off as I choked a sob but continued.
"And I saw him kissing another girl." I started crying again and Anna rubbed my arm for comfort, I smiled at her with gratitude.
"I yelled at him. I asked him why would he do that since he already has a girlfriend. Then he said he has been cheating on me with her since we got together. I told him that I never wanted to see him again and we broke up." I replied. Anna nodded her head with a sad smile. "After I slapped him." I smiled and she started laughing with me joining her.
After laughing she said, "What are you going to do?" I stood up from the couch with a sigh. "I don't know. Too many bad memories here." I stated. Then Anna jumped up with a gasp.
"A fresh start!" She squealed I raised an eyebrow. "A what?" She rolled her eyes, "A fresh start. Let's move to a different place to start over and leave all the bad memories." She clarified. I widened my eyes.
"Leave?! Anna we can't leave. We grew up here. This is Mom and Dad's house!" I exclaimed. "I know, but would you rather start a new adventure, or be depressed all your life seeing that jerk everywhere." She crossed her arms.
I can't believe my younger sister is making me choose between our childhood and our future. I groaned in frustration. "When do we leave?" I sighed, Anna smiled and clapped her hands excitedly. "How about next month?" I nodded, it's the beginning of December anyways.
"By the way, can I punch Hans?" Anna insisted I widened my eyes. "No! Anna violence isn't the answer." I reasoned, "Please?! I really want to after what he has done to you." She gave me puppy dog eyes, a pouting lip, and her hands together.
I had to use all of my willpower to not give in. "No. It will only make it worse." I demanded, "But-" I glared at her. "Fine." She huffed.
I giggled. "Thank you." I walked upstairs to my room to start packing. I sighed as I laid on my bed for a while.
A fresh start...
A new life
A new place
With new people to see.
I smiled slightly at the thought and got up to get a suitcase.
