Jack's POV

Elsa fell asleep soon after she let off some steam from reliving her past. I never knew that she's been through so much, with her parents being taken from her by someone she's never even met.

Especially that boyfriend of hers. How could he do that to her? How could anybody do that to a person who has feelings and hopes just like you? It's disappointing that he would take advantage of someone that is as amazing as Elsa.

Speaking about Elsa, she's still sound asleep and is still on my lap. I decided to take her to her room and laid her down on her bed but I didn't leave, not yet. I promised to stay here until she woke up, so I left her room and went back to the living room until I got a phone call.

I checked the caller ID to see that it was Kristoff. I picked it up.

"Hey Kris. What is it?" I started off casually as I sat on the couch.

"Hey Jack, I just called to tell you that I'll be staying at work a little late again to help Anna. Is that alright with you?"

"Of course, but how were things at the office?"

"Everything was going smoothly today, no mishaps or anything, but you still have paperwork and a few meetings in the morning."

I groaned and sighed, "Fine just tell Hiccup to bring them over when he's on his way."

"Alright, and Jack don't worry this will all be over soon. We have a long holiday next week remember?" I could hear him smile through the phone.

I face palmed, "Oh right, I forgot. Well you guys take care of the company for me okay? I'll be there tomorrow morning."

"You're the boss, Jack. I'll see you later."

"Alright take care." And I ended the call.

I heaved a long, tired sigh and draped my arm over my eyes, "Who was that?"

I turned around and saw Elsa leaning on the wall with much more comfortable clothes on, "Oh it was just Kristoff. And Anna will be coming home late, he needs to help her around the office." I said as she began walking towards my direction and sat next to me.

"Can you tell me about your past Jack?" She asked as she hugged herself, I sighed and shrugged my shoulders. "I guess it's only fair."

She shifted into a more comfortable position and turned to me waiting for me to begin.

"As a kid, I was always rebellious. I liked to pull pranks and didn't really like to follow the rules, but I had my mom and my little sister Emma with me growing up. I never really knew my dad since he passed away when I was really young but he was a loving father and a generous person, and he also took over the company during his time. All I knew of my dad was how he always brought a smile to anybody's face no matter how sad they are, he would always somehow know how to lighten up your spirit after a really bad day. Hell, he might even convince you out of suicide. But not only did he bestow joy everywhere he goes, he was also a hard worker and always took care of the company to ensure that it stays on the right track. Although that never meant that he didn't have time for us because every time he came home, he always put us first and always spends time with us the second he walks inside. However, cancer took him in the end once I was eight, and little Emma never got to meet him since at that time my mother was pregnant with her. So after he died, it was my Uncle North who took over the business."
