Chapter thirty-seven; Different perspectives about dating

Jasmine was on a search for Robyn just coming up from the greenhouse. She hated afternoon professor-student sessions that all her professors' apparently loved to have. But it was always the same three things, 'you're grades are failing', 'you have to try better', 'do you want to have a tutor?'. Jasmine had a tutor, not to the knowledge of professors, but Remus was great. He actually taught her things that she understood when they weren't talking about everyday things and procrastinating. After professor Sprout was done, she requested Robyn for whatever reason.
Jasmine's first destination was their dorm but she found it completely empty. She discarded her coat and scarf and headed to the library which was the second more frequent place in Hogwarts Robyn visited. Her speculations were proven to be right as she found her in the library, between the bookshelves in the arms of Black. Jasmine made a noise of disgust stopping at the entrance of the shelves as the two, like always, were not so subtly making out.
While them being together wasn't a bad sight, it became quickly horrible as they did not think even for a second that other people are around as they were kissing.
''Robyn.'' Jasmine whisper shouted but the girl was unresponsive. Jasmine stepped closer to them. ''Hood, please stop sharing your saliva with Black already.'' Jasmine groaned and it finally broke the couple apart.
Robyn turned around with a dazed expression and looked curiously at her best friend. ''What?'' She asked, asking Jasmine why she needed her. And why did she have to stop enjoying in the moment?
''Sprout needs you for something. She needs you to go down to the Greenhouse.'' Jasmine pointed with her thumb behind her as if indicating where she has to go.
Robyn slowly entangled her arms from Sirius and stepped away with a disappointed expression. She nodded nonetheless and while saying goodbye to Sirius, the details of it will be spared, Jasmine looked away vomit almost literally rising up her throat. She waved at Robyn who decided to leave the other way before she crossed her arms and turned to Sirius. She positioned herself opposite him and leaned back on the bookshelves with raised eyebrows.
''So I'm back to Black now?'' Sirius mirrored her position and crossed his arms.
''Yes, you're back to Black, at least until I hear your part of the story.'' Jasmine nodded and tried to look intimidating. ''So you wrote her a love letter?'' She asked fixing her posture but a teasing smile slowly tugged at her lips.
Sirius scoffed and rolled his eyes with exaggeration. ''It was not a love letter.'' He denied with a boring tone in his voice.
Jasmine smirked knowing exactly how she's going to get anything out of him. ''You know Robyn's a pretty messy person. She leaves stuff lying out in the open everywhere around our dorm.'' Her voice was teasing.
Sirius stiffened completely and his eyes widened a fraction. ''You read it?'' He asked a bit too loudly for a library.
Jasmine was already imagining a very angry Madame Pince coming their way but luckily all stayed the same and quiet. She suppressed some of the chuckles that wanted to escape, seeing Sirius' reaction.
''No. But I just proved that you wrote her a love letter.'' She smiled in triumph as Sirius again rolled his eyes. ''Now I want to know just what you did because I don't know if you saw but she had a boyfriend.''
Jasmine very much enjoyed the position of the interrogator. She may be enjoyed it too much, especially when she had the popular, wannabe bad boy and a womanizer for a façade Sirius right under the palm of her hand. She vowed she'll let him know he should be scared of her especially if something happens to her best friend.
