For Dragon-Sent

One day, a little white bunny with a cute button nose hopped around her owners garden without a care in the world.

She was happy living with her owners who adored her so much, or that's what she thought. As of late, her owners were arguing a lot and getting angry at their daughter of keeping the little bunny around, making her feel sad.

The dog next door, a Bernese Mountain dog called Odin, kept her company and today was no different.

"Hello, little bunny" Odin called out, his black nose sticking through the gap in the fence.

"Odin! I've missed you!" The little bunny squealed as she hopped over to the dog's snout and patted it with her little paws.

The dog laid down, tail wagging against the grass as he smiled "How are you today? You look... Sad."

The bunny sighed and curled up by the fence, nuzzled against Odin's snout "My owners always shout at me... Saying they should get rid of me!"

Odin couldn't believe it! Why would anyone want to get rid of a cute little ball of joy like her?

"Right!" Said Odin "They want to get rid of you? Fine. Come meet me here tonight and you can come live with me and my owner" Odin suggested.

"Are you sure Odin? What about your owners cat Checkers?" the little bunny asked.

"I'm perfectly fine with it" Checkers replied from the top of the fence, the white cat with black patches' tail curled as he wiggled his black patched nose.

"Just remember the window is my space to lay" Checkers smiled, hopped off the fence and walked back inside to eat his dinner.

"Thank you Odin!" The little bunny cried, ears perking up "I'll be here at night I promise!"

Odin watched his bunny friend hop indoors and began to messily dig under the fence, creating a hole big enough for her to squeeze through.

When night time came, the little bunny escaped through the back door and into the garden, quietly whispering for Odin.

Odin appeared soon after the back door to his house was opened and he sat by the fence again.

"Odin I'm here! How do I get through?" Asked the little bunny who kept watching in case her owners came to get her.

"Under here" Odin nudged a rock out the way to reveal the whole he had dug earlier "It's big enough for you to squeeze under and I'll fill it up again before my owner notices."

The little bunny, with determination in her eyes, squeezed and wriggled her way under the fence, her white fur darkening to an ash grey as she popped out the other side.

"See?! You did it!" Cheered Odin and he began to fill in the whole and put the rock back that he moved.

"Woooooowwwwieee!!!" The little bunny was amazed at how big the garden was compared to hers and her eyes widened as she saw inside the house of Odin's owner.

It was like a cabin, everything made of timber wood, blankets covering the sofa, a great plasma flat screen tv and a big fireplace to warm up by, not to mention Checker's window space.

"Is it okay if I go inside?" The little bunny asked Odin who smiled and lifted her up in his mouth, carrying her inside.

The little bunny felt the heat of the house and when she was put down by Odin, she hopped over to the fireplace and snuggled up into a little ball.

Odin's owner walked in from the kitchen and saw the bunny, he walked over and kneeled down, stroking the bunny's soft fur and smiling "You lost your owner girl? Okay. You can stay with me, Checkers and Odin if you want."

Checkers strolled into the living room and hopped up to the window, snuggling into his bed of blankets and falling asleep. Odin layed by his bunny friend as his owner put on the tv.

The little bunny may have had bad owners but she did have a wonderful friend called Odin and now had an even better home.
