Corey was a puppy, born into a pack of domesticated wolves. He was so small but already wondered what the biggest thing in the world was.
One day, under the freezing temperatures of a snowstorm, tucked snugly in their wolfhouse, Corey shuffled his tiny puppy body over to lay by his parents; Spring, the wolf that always has a bounce in his step and Aqua, the wolf that was found by a lake.
"Mommy?" Corey asked as his little eyes twinkled "What's the biggest thing in the world?"
Aqua looked down at him with a smile "You want to know what the biggest thing in the world is? Why don't you try and guess, there are many things in this world that are big."
Corey flopped his small ears down and began to think, looking around him at the bowls, food bags, the wolf-proof toys and lastly, his packmates.
"I think I know!" Corey beamed as he looked at Sherbert who was eying his food bowl "The biggest thing in the world is Sherbert's appetite!"
Aqua shook her head "Sherbert does have a big hungry tummy but that isn't the biggest thing in the world, sweetheart."
Corey walked over to the door of the wolfhouse and pressed his nose against it, he looked at the snowflakes falling outside and dusting the ground in snow, he then thought of another big thing.
"Is the biggest thing in the world the trees outside? They're really big!" Corey looked up to see Spring sit next to him.
With a chuckle Spring shook his head "Nope, it's not the trees, son."
Corey was so puzzled, what could be the biggest thing in the world? If it wasn't Sherbert's appetite and it wasn't the trees, what could it be?
"Hm...." Corey looked around the room again and back outside, watching their owner work inside, making tools for work.
"Daddy, is Mr Panda's buildings the biggest thing in the world?" Corey knew there was nothing bigger in his world than the big buildings their owner made.
Spring smiled and took a moment to think "Yes. I suppose Mr Panda's buildings are pretty big aren't they? But even that isn't as big as the biggest thing in the world."
Corey couldn't guess anymore and he was getting sleepy, with a yawn Corey laid back next to Aqua and snuggled into her fur, Spring laying beside them.
"If Sherbert's appetite, the trees or Mr Panda's buildings then what is the biggest thing in the world?" Corey asked as he looked up with sleepy eyes at his parents.
Aqua and Spring smiled before nuzzling either side of Corey's face "The biggest thing in the world-" Aqua started.
"-Is how much we love you" Aqua and Spring said before everyone fell asleep, the end.
