Chapter Six: Karate meets the Ice

Y/N pov:

"Alright you guys today we will have a different type of practice" Coach Bree skated around us as we sat on the ice.
"An old friend of mine reached out with an idea of us practicing together to help with their balance. Y/n , Thomas you will help run today's class" we nodded

"Holy shit it's cold in here!" Johnny yelled walking into the rank with cobra Kai . My head popped up and smiled knowing my friends should be in that crowed "y/n Thomas line up those snakes!" Coach Bree smiled at Johnny "are you sure you think you can keep up with us?" She asked the older man as they put their skates on "it's just ice skating it can't be that hard" he chuckled .

Half of cobra Kai kept hitting the ice and me and Thomas broke out into some laughs "oh come on guys all It is is balance ." I smiled at the group and started to skate backwards." My eyes found Eli's . He winked and I bit down on my lip . "Thomas and I will help as much as we can now up!" I told them helping Tory up "oh why do I get him" I hear one of the guys mumble as I helped Tory and Thomas helped a guy "hey y/n I think this one thinks he can beat you in a race!" Thomas chuckled at me looking at the guy "w-wait" "oh good! Can we do It backwards?" I crossed my arms . I heard Tory giggle next to me and helped another cobra Kai member up.

"Yo long arms are you sure you can do it?" Johnny asked as everyone cleared off the ice and me and the 'long arms' dude stood alone at one side "it should be easy right?" He looked at his sensei . "Ready!" Thomas yelled I kicked my feet on the ice "set!" The guy next to me was talking to himself "go!" I smirked and bursted off fast "wooo! Kick his ass y/n!" Tory cheered . I moved to skate backwards to watch the boy behind me "it should be easy right? And you wish you had my help?" I smirked passing him and standing in front of him holding out my hands "come on it's okay I can control the dog " I joked winking at hawk .

He took my hands and I walked him threw each stride "and maybe enough you guys can do this." I let go and Thomas came up behind me and we started to show them what we been practicing. He rose me up with his hands and my hands pressed down on to his and while I was in the air he started to spin and I spread out my legs . Thomas slowly put me down "and that's not even the half of it" Thomas looking  around the class . "First you guys need Balance and trust . That's what makes y/n a great team she trusts me enough to not let her hit that ice and she is willing to let everyone of you to try picking her up and skating we don't expect that and we highly suggest you don't we don't need you breaking our best skater before competition." Thomas smiled over me with a wink "alright who is first!" I clapped my hands skating to the middle.

Many many many drops later

"I finally get my turn with ya" hawk skated up to me. I rubbed my next "please don't stop me it's sad that only Tory and Miguel were the only ones who made sure I didn't hit the ice , Mitch was the worse he was just worried touching my legs when he raised me it was to hard and I already know when he dropped me that was going to bruise" I rambled as we skated
"Do I need to say something" he spun me "no watching him fall face first on the ice was good for me" I smiled "any day hawk!" Johnny yelled at us pointing to his watch "ready skates?" He asked me resting his hands on my waist my body started to heat up and he lifted me up and I felt his legs wobble "Eli I'm slipping make sure your grip is harder" I told him trying to push myself back up .
"I don't want to hurt you" he looked up at me

"Wait don't take your eyes off!" My sentence got cut off as we both slammed into the wall and glass "ice" I finished .

"I'm sorry!" Eli shot up making sure I was okay I held my head as it throbs "y/n!" Thomas skated over quickly pushing Eli out the way "hey hey it's okay open your eyes and follow my finger" I shook my head "I just need to get off the ice I'm okay" I pushed him away and slowly started to get up my legs wobble I didn't know I was going to hit my head so hard .
