"Y/N sweet heart come here please !" Mom yelled from the bottom of the stairs. I was in the middle of putting the finishing touches of my room. "Coming!" I quickly jogged down the stairs "what's up?" My mom bembed "I made a new friend when I was putting the new flowers out front! And she invited us over for dinner since I know you start ice skate and school tomorrow it would be nice to meet new people before you become to busy" she grabbed my hands .
I nodded "I was going to face time Tessa tonight tho" A small pout came to my face "oh put that lip away you can call her after dinner " she grabbed my chin with a giggle . I love my mother dearly she is my number one supporter with everything and I'm highly greatful to have her.
"Be ready by 5:30" she kissed my forehead sending me my way back to my room.

I opened the door and my mom looked me up and down "you are so lucky your father is in New York cuz he would have a heart attack cuz of that shirt" she giggled . I rolled my eyes and started to laugh with her .
We made our way across the yard and my mother smiled at me and knocked on the door . A tall lady with black hair opened the door with a big smile "Marie! " she said to my mom giving her a hug . Man they became friends real quick "you must be Y/n ! I'm Sophia" she said moving over to hug me " oh we hug" I said under my breath. "Come in come in! My husband is stuck at work so he won't be joining us my son does have a few friends over but they are leaving shorty I made sure of it" she smiled and let us in .
The house was beautiful and big I looked around and slowly walked in "my son should be in the back yard if you would like to go say hi" Sophia lightly tapped my back to send me the way of the yard . I looked over at my mom and she smiled "go make a friend dont be a loner like you were back in New York" "hey I had Tessa" She rolled her eyes "you know what I mean go" she kissed my head and pushed me .

I slowly walked out the back door onto the Paido . The yard was beautiful I looked around and spotted a boy with a mowhawk that was purple and he was blocking kicks from a bigger man a little heftier with curly hair as a few others watched laughing "hey hawk who is the hot chick over there!" The one yelled pointing to me . I quickly held my hands to my chest . The boy with the mowhawk I assume is named hawk . "Must be the new neighborhood my mom invited over with her mom" he said "Um hi I'm y/n your mom told me to come out here and make friends" I rubbed the back of my neck . I slowly started over to the group of boys and a few was eye banging me "well I'm hawk these are my friends Mitch Miguel bert and I think his name is Tom" hawk said pointing to his friends "hi!" I waved a little "well helloooo" Mitch said with a wink . I rolled my eyes "not interested " I said flatly "okay okay" he held his hands up . Hawk laughed "shut down like always " Miguel padded his back .
We all talked until Sophia comes out and informed us that it's time for dinner and the boys need to leave " alright see you later hawk !" His friends said walking out the yard "bye mrs.m!" Miguel said waving to hawks mom. "Come in wash up you two" she smiled at hawk and I .
~ We all sat down in the dining room and chatted away "so what brought you guys here?" Sophia asked my mom . "Well my husband and I recently split and I was coming here for a new job and start and y/n got a nice scholarship to west vally for her ice skating" my mom started to gush about me . I felt my checks heat up "mom please" I said sipping on my water "you ice skate?" Hawk said chewing on some chicken . I nodded slightly "cool" he said lightly . "Well that's sweet Eli here goes to west vally too maybe you guys could be friends and Eli can show you around!" His mother smiled "Eli?" I asked "oh let me guess they told you his name is hawk god I hate that nickname so much " "mom please you know why Had to" he rolled his eyes and started to mess with the scar on his lip .
"Eli bring y/n up to your room to chat Maria and I will clean up" Sophia smiled at her son who just nodded getting up "come on" he said to me and I quickly got up fixing my top .
"So Eli huh it's cute better than hawk" I told him as he fitted around with his play staton to put a movie on "well I don't it brings up bad memories " he grumbled sitting down next to me "I'm sorry I didn't mean to hit a nerve " I touched his arm "it's fine sorry I didn't mean to snap I've been working on that ." He nodded slowly putting on the outsiders "I love this movie!" I smiled "me too my sensi told me about it and gave me the book" he pointed to the old book on his desk . "That's nice of him so what were you guys doing in the yard?" I asked
"Karate" he smiled proudly " it helped me a lot the last two years" I nodded and listen to him gush about karate and his friends and this girl moon that Jsut dumped him "damn I'm sorry I just got out of a nasty relationship myself he didn't support my ice skating cuz I guess 3 times a week was too much for him" I hugged my knees . "He sounds like an ass" hawk pushed my shoulder "I thought he was the love of my life I guess not but no need to stress about the pass it's about moving forward " I smiled brightly and I seen a small blush flash across his cheeks.
We talked about random things and he laughed when I cried when Jonny died then Derry. "Y/n ! Time to go you have school in the morning!" My mom yelled up the stairs "okay!"
