In a giant building resembling a college University, there were many people dressed in black suits with red ties walking around. This was the HQ for all Order of Operations, directed by Jeanna Boltz A.KA. the Amazonian War Goddess.

Mostly everyone were in different study halls awaiting different orders. There's a ton of different things to do at SGU but a lot of "students" continue to do out of country and overseas missions/studies. Those who are stationed within the country are virtually always on duty.

"UGhHHhhHhh, it's so boring today!! We could've been doing a mission if Clout wasn't cleaning the bathrooms.." Ali said while slouching on the study hall couch.

"He need to clean some bitches fo' real." Someone said on the couch next to a round table. "Clout can't even suffer in peace bro, give him a break Jah." Jerry laughed at the joke.

Jah was a student at the school 3 years before the group that took down the Splinter. Since the NYC Local Group was close to the place he lived in, he decided it wasn't a bad decision to come to SGU. There are cheap dormitory options for those without homes or places to stay but it's all optional. For Jah, he can't stay because of his younger brother he takes care of.

There was a terrible ringing sound which gave everyone a shiver down the spine.

"Ahem. Is this thing on?? Someone get Richard, he knows how to work this..."

"Ma'am it's on."

"O-oh! Good morning students of Soul Gem! Today marks the official Student Award Ceremony! Please come to the cafeteria at 11 sharp. See you there!."

Obviously, it was the Director's voice on the PA system. Around the end of the year, there's an Annual Student Award Ceremony thing where the best students are chosen for what they've done over the course of 12 months.

"We already know who's gonna be 1st place.." Eli said to the group sitting around the table.

"Well, at this point it's not really a surprise, she is quite literally the strongest in this school." Canary also said after Eli.

A grim presence lingered in the air. It felt like an aura of death was felt by everyone in the vicinity.

"Heyyyy guys, are you ready for the Student Award Ceremony?" A average height woman with pink hair said while leaning over the couch Ali was sitting on.

"Yes Alisha, we're ready for you to be the best student for the 4th year in a row.." Jerry said with obvious disinterest.

"Awe, you don't have to hate Jerry. You'll definitely be up there with me too." Alisha reassured him.

Alisha was declared the strongest student and possibly the smartest among the students when it came to strategy and combat. Her power, Grim Reaper allows her to forcefully take life and power from others and add it to herself. She has nigh-immortality after an accident that happened when she was younger plus all of the criminals she took the powers from. No one has been able to take her on and even if she were to be jumped by the entire school, she'd still be able to come out on top (1500 students at the school, not including staff). That just puts into perspective how strong she really is.

"Well, I'ma get going now, see you guys later!" She skipped out the double doors and took a left.

"Well, we should get headed to the cafeteria." Canary said while getting up and walking out of the room.

"I second that, let's go guys." Jerry followed behind her.

Soon enough, everyone else got up and followed to the cafeteria. The cafe had its own separate building as there were many students. Only about 600 out of the 1500 actually showed up to the event. Things were still being set up and there were many voices, laughing, and other things people do at social events. Ali, Jerry, Eli, Canary, and Jah all sat down beside each other at a table closest to the stage.
