Terror of the Soul

Tournament Pt. 1

[Tournament Arena, 12:31]

After the two men walked to opposite sides of the arena, the crowd gradually went quieter and quieter, until only silence filled.

"You ready?" Jah said standing straight up pointing at Josh with his index finger.

"Of course I am." Josh got in his sword stance and was ready to strike.

FIGHT!

A battle horn signalled the start of the fight and once again, the crowd cheered. The moment the last letter left Boltz' lips, Josh charged at Jah insanely fast with his sword drawn. He slashed his blade upward towards Jah. There was a giant shield coming up from a pit of darkness and soon after, a big shadow knight crawled from the depths. The shadow pushed Josh of the shield and stood guard for Jah. "Good luck trying to get through this defense.."

Josh slid back on the tiles and smacked his lips. 'Damn, that is pretty impenetrable.' he thought to himself. While Josh was thinking himself, Jah casted another shadow knight that had a bow and arrow and another with a sword. He sent them in front of the shield to act as a frontline. The archer shot arrows as the swordsman charged at Josh.

"No time to think!" He jumped in the air and his clothes shined brightly. There was an obviously a lit-up yang symbol on his right hand. The crowd gasped in amazement as Josh materialized a bow and arrow made of sheer light. As he was falling he shot an arrow down at the archer.

The arrow perfectly pierced it's head and it bursted into oblivion. Josh dropped down on the ground in front of the sword-wielding shadow. It swung at the kinda tall male but it was easily blocked by Josh's katana. He then wrapped his hand around its neck and threw the shadow back at Jah.

"It seems that Jah hasn't moved a single inch from the spot he's been standing in but Josh is getting a lil' serious! Let's see if Josh can pressure him enough to get him to move!" Simi said in the spectators booth.

The big shielded Shadow blocked the flying body with much ease. Josh cracked his knuckles and neck. "You a grown ass man hiding, fight me like a real nigga!" Josh said to Jah. "Know we both know I'll lose like that and I ain't dumb so...tough luck!"

A bunch of shadows jumped out of the ground and rushed at Josh in a mob. Josh put his sword back in the scabbard and got in a stance.

"Yin release.." Darkness swirled around Josh violently as he drew his sword and cut down all of the phantoms down. "Is there anything else you'd like to send at me?!" Jah smirked behind the big shielded shadow knight. The big thing dropped it's guard and walked towards Josh a bit. "What the hell is going on..." Josh smirked nervously. The body of darkness started running at Josh full throttle while slowly getting bigger. It became a huge golem about 5 feet away from Josh. "Push him out the ring!!" The golem thrusted its many hands at Josh until he stabbed the giant cluster of shadows in the chest with the light sword.

The golem looked down at it's chest and interlocked fingers with Josh while pushing him off. They both slid to the very edge of the arena.

"Damn it, I'm gonna get pushed off! I gotta stop this shit quickly.."

Josh slowly pushed back until his back foot was nearly hanging off the edge. He pushed as much as possible but couldn't push it back.

Jah walked up the big shadow that was pushing Josh and looked around him AT Josh.

"Now did you really think that this was all? I can make this golem so much larger. It might not be fast but it's DEFINITELY powerful as fuck."

Jah put his hand on the back of the golem that was struggling to push the young man out.
