"Welcome to Paradise new comers, we've been expecting you. Hopefully we can give you the utmost hospitality."
Matty, Eli, and Clout all looked up to be greeted by a graceful winged man with long, blonde hair. Golden clouds and marble pillars surrounded the area, with a large fountain in the middle and an even larger building behind it.
"Guys, where the hell are we..?" Matty asked with clueless and confused written all over his face.
Their bodies slowly started healing and getting extraordinarily lighter.
"I dont know but I feel like a whole new nigga." Eli stretched and hopped around. "It's a bit unfortunate my clothes are all ruined though.. damn."
"I'll take care of that for you."
Someone snapped amd all three of their outfits into an all white gladiator uniform.
"Ayo?? These clothes kinda niceeee tho. But on a real note who's there?" Clout said checking out the clothes. All of their wounds and scratches were healed and their bodies were rejuvenated. The 3 also were dressed in seemingly all white gladiator attire.
"My name is Raphael and I'm but one of the divine protectors of Paradise. Are you looking for a friend?"
"H-how'd you know? We haven't seen him since we got here and it only took 2 seconds to get to the portal." Clout asked.
"Well, time is significantly faster here. 1 second on Earth is an entire earth day here. So technically, you've only been in here for a fraction of a second on Earth! Anyways, let me take you to your friend."
The group started to float all together as well as Raphael. Suddenly, they began to zoom through the clouds of Paradise. On top of a hill that had sort of platform stood Jerry, swinging his katana at another angelic looking being.
Jerry turned around and looked up as Raphael hovered downwards.
"Hello brother and Jerry! I've brought some visitors along with me!" Raphael's wings flapped, showing excitement.
"What did lord Keem tell you about bringing more souls of the living here? You know how he gets.."
The other taller and physically fit angel spoke against Raphael's actions.
"Yo Jerry." the group said simultaneously.
"Sup."
The two other angels were face to face.
"Listen Gabriel, they'll came to rescue their friend! It's not like I'd just send them out without explanation. Just here me out."
Gabriel, the armored angel, had a mean frown. He was obviously upset at his younger brother's good deed.
"Listen, I'm not mad, okay? I'm just weary of what you might bring upon Paradise. Don't let our lord catch wind of this."
Raphael nodded his head quickly.
"I already know."
No presence was ever felt like this before. Both of the angelic beings bowed down before him and so did Jerry. It was natural instinct for the other 3 humans to drop down to their knees too.
They knew absolutely 100% that this man could kill them faster than the blink of an eye.
"My lord, I didn't mean to go against your wishes. I quite literally cannot stop myself from helping others-"
"It's alright Raphael, I understand your intentions. Besides, I'm quite interested in these 4. 1 of them has shown competence to keep up with you, Gabriel."
The tall, darkskin man with an extremely ripped physique and huge body mass looked down upon the 4. He flicked his fingers up and everyone but the two angels was teleported into a large, empty coliseum.
"What are we doing here? What happened to Gabriel and Raphael?" Matty asked.
"I know you're all confused but worry not, those two are fine. Right now you're in the Paradise Coliseum. This might be brazen to ask right now, but can you all fight me? I can sense your potential."
'WHAT?!' They all thought to themselves.
"We haven't even been here for 30 minutes and you're demanding a fight out of us? Are you crazy?!" Eli raised his voice.
"And not only that, I can tell just off your aura you're stronger than all of us combines PLUS your subjects. We wouldn't last a minute against you." Clout yelled.
Keem snapped his fingers and a plethora of weapons popped up in the arena. Ranging from ancient halberds to golden gauntlets.
"I just want to gauge your power for now and see how where you are all at. See what can be improved."
The group stared at each other and stared at Keem.
"We've come to the agreement to throw hands." Clout said while pointing at Keem.
They proceeded to walk over to the weapon bank and inspect what they would be fighting with. Clout and Eli insisted that they do better without and Jerry could form weapons. Well, only Yamato for some reason but that's besides the point. Matty chose to pick up a meteor hammer that had an extremely long, grey metallic chain and a steel weight.
"Yeah, I've DEFINITELY used one of these before back when I took martial arts in school. Nice and comfy."
Matty spun the chain at extremely high speeds and did a few tricks.
Keem watched as he did remarkably fancy things with the weapons.
'Little does he know that's one of the most dense metals and heaviest in all the realms and he's swinging it with ease!'
Jerry walked over to the bank next and inspected the variety of weapons. Nothing really piqued his interest as he mosty had mastery over most of the weapons in it.
But something stood out in particular.
A black and white pair of daggers gave off the same vibe as any other Demon Kin weapon but... different.
"Ivory and Ebony are truly a strange weapon to behold. Be aware of the effects it gives you."
Jerry picked up one of the short blades and nothing seemed to happen. After picking up the second, his feet lifted off the ground and started levitating.
"W-what's going on?? I can't put my feet back on the ground!" Jerry wobbled around in the air, attempting to maintain balance. He dropped one of the blades amd instantly fell the small distance above ground.
"Woah.. that was kinda cool." Eli said.
Now that Matty and Jerry selected their weapons, it was time for the long-anticipated battle. The four males stood in the center of the arena, where they faced Keem. Keem got in a fighting stance and suddenly the weight of the air in the coliseum became a lot more heavy.
"Let the battle begin!"
