[Tournament Arena, 13:12]
The two men stood at the opposite ends of the arena, awaiting the horns of battle.
"You know, I've never fought you before Clout. This'll be interesting." Molina said at Clout with no ill intent. He stretched his arms and legs and hopped a bit.
"Now that I think about it, you're right! Let's put on a show for our lovely audience." Clout crackled as his eyes glowed a bright white shade.
3!
2!
1!
Fight!
The moment the horns were blown, Clout seemingly vanished in thin air. The audience was SHOCKED (aha) from this sudden disappearance but in reality, he charged at Molina with speed of thunder itself. He reappeared in front of Molina and landed a solid blow to the face. This sent him to the ground in a moment. Molina got back up quickly put his hand out. He shot a bubble at clout but missed and hit the ground. It had 2 large time arms that moved very slowly inside of them.
"You missed! Keep up!" Clout taunted Molina as he kept running towards him but at a relatively normal speed (for superhumans that is). Molina kept shooting these bubbles and it was apparent that it was slowing down everything inside of them. The pebbles from the arena took forever to fall and you could even see dust slow down. Molina jumped over the last bubble and went in for a spin kick. Molina caught his foot and slammed him into the ground, slightly cracking the arena. Clout let out a sound of obvious pain and summersaulted backwards.
He looked at his hands and felt his body. It was...a disturbing feeling. Something he never felt before. "What the fuck is this..?"
"Oh, so you feel it? That's all of your body's functions running a bit slower than they used to. All your physical attributes have declined a bit, had to get rid of that pesky speed of yours."
Clout thought to himself 'Damn, he really got me, but I still got a trick up my sleeve.'
He played along for now, acting as if he was terribly affected by the slowing down process. They both ran at each other and exchanged fist and kicks. The crowd cheered them on as this fight was the least amount of power usage in the tournament so far.
Clout kicked Molina away and got ready for another attack. Molina watched carefully for his next move with an almost impenetrable defense stance. They both circled the center of the arena.
"I'm ending this Molina!" Clout yelled as large amounts of electricity bursted out if him. His eyes glowed pure ivory and floated a tiny bit over the floor. "No way he's about to be as faster or faster than earlier, I hit him so many times directly! Nevertheless, I must be prepared for what's about to happen." Molina looked at the Clout floating in the air while holding his hands up, covering incoming debris.
In an instant flash, there was a loud boom and a giant smoke cloud that rose above the arena. People from the outside watched as it rose.
"Those damn kids and their science experiments, back in my day we used to cut open frogs, not blow up labs..." A random old man said while riding on his bicycle.
Back to the fight...
As the smoke started to clear and the students were over their seats with anticipation, there laid Molina outside of the arena, unconscious. Clout sat criss cross with the top half of the school issued battle uniform ripped up. "Maybe I overdid it a little.."
"Clout wins the 3rd round and will proceed to the next round!" Boltz said with cheer. The suited men came once again and carried Molina away and cleaned up the arena. Clout got up and walked off the stage. As he walked back in the booth, Jerry and Alisha stood at the entrance with glittering eyes. "THAT WAS SO COOL!" The two said simultaneously. "Yeah, I had to push my limits a bit 'cuz of that time thing, I honestly didn't even know I could go that was fast." He shrugged and sat down on the bench.
