I felt water on the side of my cheek and wiped it off. I didn’t know I was crying guess I didn’t see that coming. Why am I so sensitive? As soon as I got to Hope’s room I saw her toss and turn in her sleep and decided to see what’s going on.
I walked to her bed and lightly shook her to see if she’ll wake up and she opened her eyes. I smiled at her and then she closed her eyes again. This time I am worried is she tired? I shook her again but this time she isn’t responding.
“Hope?? Sweetheart? Wake up!?” I said getting kind of scared but she isn’t opening her eyes. I then put my left ear against her heart and it sounded like it was beating but I could barely hear it beating.
“Hope!!?? Please please wake up honey!!!” I said a little bit louder and she isn’t waking up so I decided to pick her up and my only option is to take her to the hospital because my child isn’t waking up and her heart rate is slow. I was literally panic mode I was shaking and was running down the stairs as fast as I could while holding Hope tightly in my arms.
“EMILY!! EMILY!!! WHERE ARE YOU!!??” I shouted and Emily and Niall both came running down the stairs.
“Something is wrong with Hope and I don’t know what is wrong with her!!” I said holding Hope and crying at the same time. “I’M GOING TO TAKE HER TO THE HOSPITAL!!” I said and quickly put on my shoes and grabbed my keys and ran out the door with Hope in my hands and put her in her car seat and buckled her in. I shut the car door and went to the diver side and started the engine and was about to pull out until Niall and Emily came running and I opened the door and barged in the car. I just sped off while they were trying to settle in.
“Will you calm down Sky we’re going to get killed if you don’t slow down!” Emily said. I don’t care if I get a ticket for speeding the only thing I care about is Hope right now because she is my child and i don’t know if she sick or ill.
Once I pulled up to the Emergency room I immediately opened the door and went to Hope’s side of the door took her out and gave the key to Emily or Niall. All I know is I threw the keys to Niall or Emily. I am running through the doors of the ER.
“HELP MY CHILD ISNT BREATHING RIGHT AND SHE ISN’T WAKING UP!!!!SOMEONE HELP I NEED A FREAKING DOCTER OR NURSE NOW!!!!” I yelled and nurses and doctors came and gathered around Hope and I. They took her out of my hands.
“GIVE ME MY DAUGHTER I WILL HOLD HER!!!PLEASE I NEED TO GO WITH HER!!!” I yelled and tried to run past the nurse who was holding me from running and I felt hands holding me back and it was Niall and Emily trying to hold me back but I tried to get their grip off me.
“Skylar calm down she is going to alright I promise you! Please calm down!” Emily said, and dragged me to a seat and I decided to sit down next to her while Niall sat across from us.
“I’m scared Emily. What if she isn’t alright? I’m scared Emily I don’t want to lose her.” I said with tears streaming down my face.
