"George? You ok, you look off."

I barely hear Clay say something, the thoughts are too loud. It takes me minutes to process his question, it's almost as if I'm an old PC when I try to add a shader to Minecraft. "N-N- I mean yes, I'm fine. Could you, uh, give me a second?"

Stuttering like a 6th grader, great.

He nods with a smile, it's so nice that Clay is sweet like that. No wonder I fell in love with him. "What?" I whisper "I- sorry, hold on."

I cover my probably red face and turn around, digging in my backpack looking for something. Anything. All I need to do I hide my feeling and it'll be like nothing ever happened, right? Surely the thoughts will come back later but for now, they stay hidden. And to never be seen by anyone but me.

Hopefully I have left my thought in my backpack as I make my way over to Clay. "S-Sorry about that, I just-" I'm interrupted "Hey, it's okay. Just wanted to make sure you're alright, and please, don't apologize. You did nothing wrong."

Shit, the blush is coming back.

"O-Ok, thanks." My words are gone, he has once again taken them away and swept me off my feet.

Clay starts packing up his guitar, but his singing, it sounded.... familiar. "Clay wait!" I'm quick to cover my mouth as I was too loud, but it's fine, I caught his attention at least. "Oops, sorry, that was a bit loud. A-Anyways, your singing" don't stutter don't stutter "It was good, It sounded quite familiar though."

He looks away, did I offend him? "Thanks George." He's quick to drop the conversation but his voice, where is it from? Was it that kid on.... it all suddenly clicks together. "C-Clay, are you that kid from YouTube?"

It comes out slow and quietly, I regret saying it as soon as it escaped my mouth. I hope he didn't hear, please make Clay not hear what I said.

"W-What?" He turns around "Where did you get that from?" His face is pale, I shouldn't have brought it up. I back up because he looks like he might hit me, he wouldn't do that to me, would he?

Please don't be mad, please don't hit me.

"Uh, no where, can we just forget I said anything, please?" He nods, thank whoever that he wasn't mad. "But I really appreciate what you did for me, hey, can I have your number? J-Just so we can talk."

Clay's face returns to normal color "Sure."

He hands me his phone and I type in my number. We finish up in the music room and part ways, but the whole time I'm wondering if he really is the kid from YouTube.
