We were all set to go.
"Oh! You guys dont want any breakfast before you guys go?" May said.
"Oh. No thank you Ms. Parker, I dont eat."
What? She doesn't eat?
Me and May both looked at her.
"...Wha---t I meant to say was that I dont eat breakfast, it........upsets my stomach in.. in the mornings." She said blushing embarrassed.
It was completely obvious that she lied on spot and made it up which made me more concerned, but May kept going with it like she fell for the lie.
"Ok then! Tell me how your day goes first day back from break!" May screams as we walked out the door.
Oh! And I forgot to mention, we start school back, so its about august 3 or 4.
As we started walking, I felt Scarlett giving me looks and glances looking up, then back at the floor.
"So... you remember your classes... or did they give you your classes as yet?"
"Oh.. U-um, y-Yeh, I got it, I have Math first, Chem, P.E, Lunch, Technology, and Engineering."
"Oh wow! We have about every class together!" I said with an awkward smile.
".... Hey Peter? Im sorry again for ruining you sleep schedule, I-"
"Don't worry about it! You did ruin anything, I am not even tired." I lied. DAMN I COULD FALL ASLEEP IN CLASS.
We made it to the subway where there was a few kids I knew that was going to my school along with us, but then the others people middle age people or adults.
There was no seats left on the subway, so we had to stand holding onto the pole. Which was only one pole left.
We both held onto the pole while she looked down to her feet thinking, and I looked around at the people in the subway with us.
All of a sudden, there was a big screech stopping the train for some people, but Scarlett's hand must of slipped, because it landed right on mine.
"Sorry." She quickly said moving her hand away.
We got off the bus stop and headed to the school up ahead us.
I could tell she was very nervous.
"Your gonna do great." I said smiling at her as she replied back not smiling.
"Thanks Peter, you really think so?"
"Yeh! Everyone here is great... except... some bullies."
"Bullies? Who-"
"What's uh dickwad!" I heard someone behind us.
There came Flash. Oh shit.
"Ooh. Who is this? Penis Parker has a girlfriend now?" He said flicking me on the back.
He then went up to Scarlett and pulled out her hand kissing it.
I rolled my eyes.
She snatched her hand very fast.
"And who are you sweet hummingbird."
Sweet hummingbird? What is he doing.
"um.. hi." She said turning back around to me.
She started walking until me and Flash both looked at each other, then back at her. I rushed to her quickly like I was there the whole time, while Flash followed.
"So our first class is room 1221." I said.
"Oh, thanks!" She said smiling at me. I smiled back, until Flash came in between us.
"So.." Flash said pushing me back.
She stopped and turned to Flash then back at me.
"Im sorry, you just pushed Peter out of the way, that isn't very nice." She said trying to get the words out.
"C'mon Peter." She said grabbing my arm and walking past Flash.
"Should've known.. fucking whore." Flash said mumbling the last part out chuckling as he passed us slapping her butt and nudging her on the shoulder.
I looked to her as she closed her eyes tightly for a few seconds.
'...yeh... bullies like Flash and his friends." I mumbled looking to her.
