** Levi let his lips meet your neck, kissing it slowly, over, and over again. He intertwined his hand with yours, raising it above your head in the cold soft grass. With your other free hand you grabbed his hair, not too harsh but not too loose either. He raised his head slightly to catch his breath, side-eyeing you for a second before going back to it, he changed to a faster rhythm. His hand trailed the side of your waist till it reached your inner thigh. He rubbed up and down slowly, changing his kisses to a faster pace once more. "Captain..." you quietly moaned, he stopped for a few seconds and you soon knew why. You felt a bulge through his pants touch your leg. Levi steadied himself above you, breathing heavily he stared into your eyes as if he were contemplating. Clearing his throat he spoke up.**

Levi :
We should get going, this isn't the place or time

y/n :
Huh?- Oh yeah, right

You both got up wiping any kind of dirt you had sticking onto your clothes. While he went to grab the horse you wondered what had just happened. The ride home was silent the entire time, it felt longer than it actually was. By the time you reached camp the entire rest of the day was wasted, Jean was the only one awake.

jean :
Y/n ! You're finally back, I was worried, what took so long? Did you guys get caught?

You looked back to look for Levi's reaction but he was busy unsaddling the horse.

y/n :
Oh no, we just took a wrong turn on our way there, you should get some sleep now though i'm fine

He shot a soft smile at you, patting your shoulder before walking past you. You sighed walking towards the soft edge of the hill, sitting down.

You stared at the stars in the sky questioning life all around you.

Levi :
Tired ?

The voice you grew to love creeped up behind you.

y/n :
No, not at all. I slept through most of the day earlier.

He sat down beside you, looking up at the sky just as you were.

Levi :
Tell me, how did you know where to find us?

y/n :
Oh, just a hunch I guess

In reality you had overheard commander Erwin talk to Levi about where to go if our hiding spot were to be discovered. You swore you saw the tiniest smile appear on his face.

You could see the house you had just left in the distance, you wondered if you would go back to it anytime soon.

y/n :
What are we living for?

Levi didn't seem fazed by that question in the slightest, he must've thought about it himself.

Levi :
Not what, but who

You nodded at his valid answer, you had never thought about it like that before.

y/n :
About earlier... what.. was that? I mean what were we thinking?

Levi :
I was thinking that we could die tomorrow. I don't like wasting time, it's valuable. I'm tired of losing people I care about, I don't want to waste any more time than I already have. Especially with you.

He didn't stutter or seem hesitant, he always got straight to the point which you liked.

Never too good with your words you didn't know what to say and instead pulled his shirt towards you, bringing his lips onto yours. It was a slow and passionate kind of kiss.

Then let's not waste time

Your lips met once more, you felt him smirk against your lips, making you want him all the more.

Levi :
Get some rest cadet.

He pulled away getting up, ruffling your hair before heading into his tent.

What a tease.

Fast enough you feel asleep on the spot.

"I think she's dead... HELLO?" This triggered your fight or flight, trying to get up almost instantly you bumped foreheads with Sasha, who stood above you.

sasha :
OW ! That really hurt... you owe me your bread tonight

eren :
Damn y/n, you sleep a lot

Eren stood above you as well, he helped you up and then stared at you suspiciously for an uncomfortable amount of time.

y/n :
What is it? Do I have something on my face or something?

eren :
Mhm, something like that. Who did that to your neck?

You instantly cringed at his words thinking back to yesterday, the entire group turned their attention on you, including Levi.

jean :
Oh, that's my bad, sorry

connie :
HUUUUUH? JEAN AND Y/N? AHAHAHA

sasha :
WOOHOO YOU GO Y/N

Eren didn't look too happy with the response he got, but there was no time for that right now.

Armin :
Shhh ! I hear someone coming

Everyone turned to face Levi who was pointing above to the trees, you all dispersed on different branches with Jean next to you.

jean :
I owed you one, remember?

y/n :
Thank you

You sensed Levi staring at you next to Armin, you didn't dare to make eye contact with him yet.

You heard him tell Armin to act as bait while him and Jean disarm them, and so they went on to do so. You watched it all happen, one was a girl with short wavy hair, the other was a male with a bowl cut.

While this was going down Eren took the chance to approach you.

eren :
Hey, about earlier... I'm really not sure you should be hanging 'round jean so much

y/n :
Huh? How come?

eren :
Meh I just don't like the guy, I don't know. I feel like you guys barely talked and he's already coming onto you, hell you've spent more time with the captain than the guy

You nervously laughed it off scared he would figure you out.

y/n :
Yeah, uh, anyway, do you think we'll be able to dethrone the king?

eren :
Eh I cant tell for sure yet, I just know I'm tired of being on the run, we'll know tomorrow I guess

You nodded and joined the others on the ground.

jean :
Hey Captain, I'll take care of these two myself, Is that alright?

Levi :
Mhm, just make sure they keep their mouths shut

Jean nodded but before going his own way he approached you slowly, whispering in your ear,

jean :
Next time you screw around with Captain Levi, I'm not so sure i'll be able to cover for you.
