plot: OC is the parxie behind the MTV twitter account and Awsten has the hots for her

Waterpark's frontman Awsten Knight, matching in blue, red and yellow from head to toe, was sat in a funky chair in the MTV office.
Finally, the band was able to score an interview with them to promote their upcoming album. Everyone involved with the band was excited for the broad exposure it would get them and Awsten felt thrilled to be there, just like Otto and Geoff, who were seated on chairs equally as funky as his.

The MTV office was just as much of a bright color-fuck as Awsten himself; almost every wall was in a different color and the furniture was customized with stickers and splashes of paint. Seemingly, every staff member brought their own individual dash of creativity to the workplace.
Frankly, Awsten had never felt so comfortable in an office building.

One thing that was itching in his mind though, is that he had not yet met the person behind the MTV twitter account who regularly replied to Waterpark's tweets and pushed their account.

It wasn't their interviewer, Chris Conelly, because that's the first question Awsten had asked him, after he had introduced himself.

The interview took about 30 minutes to film. Chris asked them several questions about the upcoming era and tour, to which Awsten responded excitedly, but aware of how much information he could actually give away.

He was rocking back and forth in his chair, like a child on a sugar rush — or in his case; ADHD rush — when a new person entered the office.
Awsten couldn't help but get distracted by the noise their heavy boots created against the floor.

It was a girl around his age, probably a little younger though. She had a starbucks coffee in hand and was wrapping up the wires of her headphones. Her hair was twisted up into a bun and dyed dark blue with red side sections. She had not seen him yet, and nonchalantly hung her coat on the rack, while Awsten's mind was blanking completely and his eyes stayed glued to her. She was insanely pretty and had good style. Her rose-colored button-up shirt was strawberry themed and tucked into a black skirt that ended just above her knees. Her legs were covered in tattoos. From where Awsten was sitting he could make out a bee's hive under her knee, a burning axt and a snake on her calves. His mind intrusively suggested the image of those legs wrapped in his bedsheets.

He was snapped back to the interview though, when he heard Geoff mention his name in an anecdote he was telling from making the music video for their song Lowkey As Hell.

Chris had noticed Awsten's attention diverting, but didn't say anything yet. He wanted to wait until the end of the interview to tell him that Alex was the person who always tweeted at him through the MTV twitter account.

When Awsten spoke up again, the girl's eyes widened and she looked around in shock. She had totally forgotten, that the Waterparks boys would be coming in today.
She glanced over to where they were sitting and her breath got stuck in her throat at the sight of them.

Oh my God, they are real.

Alex had to admit that she was a big fan of them and crushing hard on their unfairly cute frontman too. However, she didn't go over right away to meet them, as they were still caught up in the interview. She planned to, but not right now.

Instead, she sat down at her desk and started up her computer. In the meantime, she repeatedly stole glances at the boys and could barely keep in her excitement.
