Chapter 40

Jack Johnson's POV

I was just playing video games with Jack, when I got a text from Mack.

Why would she be up at this time?

"Jack, can you read that to me?" I ask continuing to play.

"Sure," he says and presses the home screen. "It's from Mack and it says 'I love you. don't forget that.'"

"What? That's a little off f-" I get cut off by my phone ringing.

I look at Jack weirdly before answering it.

"Hello?"

"Hi, is this Jack Johnson?"

"Yeah, who is this and why?"

"I'm Dr. Morin and your sister is here at the hospital right now." My eyes fill with tears.

No.

She can't be gone.

"Wh-what? Why?"

"Sir, just come down now. honestly, we don't know if she'll make it."

And with that he hangs up.

I look at my phone as it shakes from my hands shaking.

"Bro what the fuck is wrong?"

Jack Gilinskys POV

I saw Jacks eyes fill with tears, and he rarely ever cries.

"Bro what the fuck is wrong?"

"We have to get to the hospital." He rushes standing up, and grabbing his keys.

I confusingly follow him.

"I'll drive," I say and he sighs handing me the keys. "Why are we going to the hospital?"

"M-Mack," is all he says, and my heart stops a little.

No. She wouldn't kill herself.

Would she?

I mean, yeah she cried wen we broke up, but I thought she would be over it by now.

When we get to the hospital, Jack rushes to a desk. "Mackenzie Johnson." He rushes and the lady looks through her computer.

"Floor 4, room 417."

Jack rushes to the elevator and I follow.

"Why is she here?" I ask curious.

"I-I don't know. b-but they s-said she m-might n-not m-make i-it." he basically stutters out.

Oh my god.

She might not make it.

This story has honestly been one if the best I've written.

My others I would hate and delete.

Tbh I'm really happy with this book, even tho it has a frantic ending.

Maybe I'll be having a sequel; tell me if I should or not.

If you've read the whole story your the real mvp bc I suck a writing at the beginning of any story I write.

Anyway,i just want to thank all of you who have read any of my stories.

Throughout this whole story, I've gone through many emotions, and I feel like my other stories, I'm going to try and put more work into.
