(Authors note: Hi all! I've been writing this chapter quite a lot, and i've been making a lot of changes to it. Like i said, these next few chapters will be taking place during the holidays, christmas more specifically. Please let me know what you would like to see in upcoming chapters, i'm open to all ideas! Ashes fall in the sea
Plans are thrown to the wayside

You and the group were walking down a mountain now, approaching Castelia city.
The sky was gray, and the clouds were getting darker and darker.
"Wow, it's really cold here! Does anyone know the temperature?" Iris asked.
Cilan checked his phone, "It says it's 25 degrees Fahrenheit."
"Wow, I wish we had some jackets..." Ash said, shivering and rubbing his arms.
"Why don't we go to that pokemon center over there?" Cilan said, pointing towards a pokemon center on the outskirts of castelia city.
"Good idea!" You, Ash and Iris said in unison.
-Time skip, inside the pokemon center-
Look! The Christmas trees up!" Iris exclaimed. "OOH!! Look at all the pretty lights!"
The pokemon center was decked out from head to toe in decorations. a very tall Christmas tree in the corner of the lobby, colorful lights around all the windows, and a mistletoe hanging in the hallway leading to the bedrooms....
"Hey guys, how about some breakfast?" Cilan said.
"OOOH! YEAH!!" Ash and Iris nearly yelled.
You? Not so much. You were still freaked out about the whole kidnapping incident, and your leg and arm still hurt.
You all went to sit down at a table, and wait while Cilan prepared breakfast. (You were out all night, so when you left the hospital the sun was rising.)
You were tired, really tired. All you wanted to do was lay down and take a nap, and have someone to hold..... But you didn't wanna miss out on breakfast, either. So you were torn between the two. Your body was telling you to eat, but your mind was telling you to sleep. You figured you would just suck it up, you really haven't eaten in a while.
You went to sit down next to Ash, and across from Iris. They happily greeted you, and Ash actually got up from his chair to pull yours out for you. "What a gentleman...." You thought
"So (Y/N), how does your arm and leg feel?" Ash asked, turning to you.
"Oh, uhhh, they're ok, I guess."
"I'm glad!!" He said, with that same angelic smile.
"Hey guys, i've been thinking, maybe I should leave the Unova region soon. I've heard about the Kalos region and it seems so cool! Iris, you and Cilan could come with but I thought you would've had a different journey you'd like to go on." Ash said.
"W- well, id like to go with!" You said, worried that Ash will leave you.
Iris had a sad look on her face, like she was deep in thought.
