Jackson's POV

Yesterday while walking through the halls at school I got the chills. It wasn't bad, it was good, but weird. I felt a tug on my heart too, but I brushed it off, walking out to my black Ford F-150. Technically I had 6 classes left but my dad called saying I had to go home and sign some paperwork for the trading deal we're starting with an alaskan pack. It was the first day anyways so I knew the teachers wouldn't go on about much. (btw if you can't tell already or you didn't read the first post of this book Jackson is 18, Jericho is not yet, to understand why I'm pointing this out go read the first chapter)

After I finished the paperwork it was too late to go back to school anyways so I headed into the packhouse game room and plopped down on a bean bag, scrolling through different social media sites. I kept seeing the same video of this girl. I can't help but think I recognize her but in reality I've never seen her before in my life. She was apparently new to our school and the video shows her totally one upping Ashton and Dominic. Their faces get a good laugh outta me as I decide I'll ask them about it later when they get back from school. Since they're pack warriors they live in the pack house, technically they don't have to until they finish high school, and once they find mates they'll move out, but they say it gives them more freedom. More like it's easier to sneak out at night since their mom isn't around.

Just as I start to get up from my position on the bean bag I hear hustle and bustle from the bottom floor of the pack house and the front door slams shut. I wince as the packhouse beta female scolds them (basically there is a beta and beta female who are in charge of the packhouse, different from the actual beta and beta female). Once they apologize I hear them stumble up the stairs and come bursting through the door. "DUDE YOU WON'T BELIEVE THIS GIRL WE MET TODAY!" "BRO THIS CHICK WAS AWESOME!" They keep talking over each other and I just start laughing. They stop and look at me, confused.

"You both know that y'all are all over social media, along with whomever I presume this mystery girl is, right?" They both laugh nervously and act embarrassed. Obviously they knew but probably thought I hadn't seen it yet.

"She sat at our table today at lunch. Apparently Ethan invited her. She got along with everybody. She's super chill."

"Yeah? I'd love to meet this feisty beta." I say with a chuckle.

"Dude, that's the crazy thing. She isn't a beta."

I look at him confused, "Okay, alpha then? I'm suprised she got along with the group so well if that's the case, a couple of y'all have a thing against alphas other than us."

He shakes his head, "Jackson, that girl is an omega." My jaw drops, completely confused. That girl, who acted all confident, and totally knocked the two craziest and flirtatious guy I know off their feet, was an omega? What? "She was awesome. You gotta be at school tomorrow. You gotta meet her."

"Well I am extremely intrigued. Of course I'm gonna be there tomorrow to meet her." Eventually the conversation about mystery girl dwindles and we end up playing games on the xbox, my mind wandering to her face. Why does she look so damn familiar?

Jericho's P.O.V.

I wake up to someone pounding on my door, "Jericho! Get up! You're gonna be late!"

I open my eyes groaning and try to rub the sleep from them. "I'm up, I'm up! I'll be down in a moment." I look at my clock, eyes bulging when I realize it's already 8. My 7 o'clock alarm didn't go off so now I have to get ready and be at school in 45 minutes. Rushing, I throw on my outfit for the day, some dark skinny jeans, a maroon babydoll top, and some black heeled combat boots. My hair goes into a messy bun, I swipe on some mascara and lip gloss before running downstairs. "Hey mom, good morning." I press a quick kiss to her cheek and grab the toast and orange she set out for me.
