*Grayson's point of view*

A few more months go by and we are finally getting to experience summer time in Seattle. It definitely doesn't get as hot as it used to back home but it feels great. With the high temperatures being around 65-75 it's the perfect weather for going hiking, biking, and fishing. Honestly anything outdoors sounds good to me.
Today being Saturday we all decided to meet up and go for a hike. We found a great place to go that has plenty of trails to explore. I like doing my research before going anywhere.
"Hey babe, have you seen my Fanny packs?" I ask Alli slightly shouting front the bedroom. I hear her giggle and I know what's coming next.
"Probably ran away from you." She responds. She always says the Fanny pack makes me look silly but it comes handy doing stuff like this.
"This again. I've already told you that I don't mind looking silly as long as I've got everything I need at my disposal." I tell her with a serious face. She walks away for a moment and comes back with the Fanny pack in hand.
"It was in the box labeled 'Hiking'." She tells me. I totally thought I already looked there. I thank her and get back to getting my stuff together.
Alli gets the lunch box ready and we head out the door. Hanna is meeting us at the park so we will see her then. It's a bit of a drive so I turn on some music. I'm Yours by Alesia Cara comes on and I already know what is coming. Alli loves singing this song to me. She says that is describes the way that I walked into her life. It's tells about someone walks into the other persons life without any warning and pretty much describes it in a mean way but it's such a sweet love song.
"So baby I'm yours." She sings to me and I can't help but smile. She's so cute. I'm glad I barged my way into her heart. How could anyone not love this girl? She's perfect.
I decide to put on one of my favorites next as Fall For You by Secondhand Serenade starts to pay in the background. I personally have always loved this song but when I met Alli it was different. I actually had an experience to connect it with. I hate to admit it but I'm such a romantic.
We finally make it to the park and I see Hanna sitting in her car waiting. We get out of the car and we all say our hellos.
"Anybody know which trail we should pick first?" I ask the two woman standing in front of me.
"I think we should pick the one that looks more fun." Hanna suggests. We all agree and pick the longest trail. Long=fun right?
We head out and Alli and Hanna are in front of me while I stay back a little bit. I like to bring my camera along and take pictures which slows me down a bit so I let them go ahead of me. I look up and notice the pair has joined hands and it's so cute. I pull out my camera and take a picture of them walking hand in hand on the trail. The sun in the background looks amazing coming out through the trees. That will be a good photo to frame and hang in the apartment.
"You coming slowpoke!" I hear Alli shout as I look up to see them giggling in front of me.
"You two are so mean to me!" I shout back. They love to tease me.
I catch up with them when we come upon a beautiful waterfall. We find a way to get down into the water and dip our feet in. It isn't quite warm enough today to swim but it's such a beautiful sight to witness. We're standing in the water when I hear a stranger next to us.
"Do you guys need someone to take a picture of you three together?" The random woman asks.
"That would be amazing! You don't mind?" I ask her in response.
"No. Not at all." She takes the camera I was holding and we squeeze in for a group picture. Alli on one side, Hanna in the middle and I am standing on the end. We smile and she takes the picture. I motion for her to take one more. I look at Alli and she gets my hint. Right before we take the picture we both lean in and kiss Hanna on either side of her face.
The picture turned out perfect. We got it at just the right moment where Hanna was smiling so big because she was surprised about the kiss and her nose was scrunched, it was adorable. We thank the random woman and she goes back to her group of friends hiking the same trail.
"You two are the best. Y'know that?" Hanna asks while she blushes like crazy.
"You deserve it love." I whisper to her while pulling her into my side and kissing her temple.
We head back onto the trail and continue our hike. The scenery in this place is absolutely gorgeous. Streams everywhere, so many pretty flowers, and the trees are so tall. The one thing I'm not a fan of is spiders. I hate spiders so much. Luckily I've only seen one so far but it scared the crap out of me.
"I'm getting a little tired you guys wanna head back to the car?" Alli asks.
"I'm getting a little hungry too." Hanna chimes in.
"Of course let's go." I tell them. Leading the way this time I get a little lost in my own head space as we're walking back and I don't even realize that Alli and Hanna aren't right behind me anymore. I turn around to find the love of my life down on one knee but Hanna is no where in sight. Shocked I just stand there for a moment with my hands over my face.
"Grayson...I knew from the moment I met you that my life was going to change. I knew I had to know you. I wanted to know your favorite song, learn your favorite food, and I wanted to know what it felt like to be loved by you. Over the past year and a half you have truly showed me just that. You have showed me love that I never thought was possible. You have encouraged me in all my goals, and hobbies, and you have made me such a better person. I am standing here in front of you today because you deserve everything this world has to offer. I know we already are engaged but...will you marry me?" Alli asks and by now we are both crying, tears of joy running down our faces.
"How could I ever say no?" I tell her. She stands up and slides the ring on my finger. It's perfect. I couldn't have picked out anything more perfect myself.
"You guys are making me cry!" I hear come from behind us. I look over and see Hanna with her phone in hand. I assume that she was either recording the whole thing or getting pictures.
"You planned this the whole time?" I ask Alli.
"I did. I bought the ring a little while ago and Hanna helped me plan it all out for today." She says and I thank Hanna for her part in all of this. I grab Alli and pull her closer to me before I kiss her with so much passion. I don't know how she does it but I keep falling harder and harder. The little photographer is asking for pictures of the ring so I hold out my hand and then we take some pictures of Alli and I together.
"I was not expecting this at all." I tell her.
"That was the goal. You're always so hard to get anything past it's hard to surprise you." Alli replies to me.
"Thank you." I take her hands and wrap them around my waist. "Thank you for loving me. For showing me the world. For protecting me. And thank you for never giving up on me." I say to her. We've been through a lot together and she's always been there for me. Even when I thought I lost her forever she took me back. I truly want to thank her though for never letting me give up on myself. I'm not always the happiest person, I have my bad days but she tries her best not to let me get too dark. Without her I don't know where I would be.
"You are very welcome sweet heart. There's no where else I would want to be."
