Wednesday comes around sooner than Dream had expected; at least that's what it seems like. While on his way to the library, he texts George to make sure he's still able to come.

Dream: Are you still coming today? You got my other messages right?

George: Yes I did, don't fret, jeez

Dream: Don't be late, George

George: Shut up

To that, Dream laughs. It feels as if they're getting closer. Again.

He parks his car in the front of the library parking lot, nervously awaiting George's arrival. Maybe he's already there? Dream doesn't know. He's too busy worrying about this meeting as it's their first time meeting outside of school since summer. The blonde sucks up the nerves he has and makes his way into the library.

Dream looks around for George and sees him already sitting at a table, looking at something on his phone.

"I'm sorry to keep you waiting," Dream frowns, taking a seat across from the boy. He looks up and gives him a reassuring smile.

"Don't worry about it, I wasn't waiting long," he says, putting his phone down. Dream isn't sure if that's true, he just has to take his word for it.

"Good," Dream smiles as George slides a book to him. "Is this for me?"

"Yeah, don't lose it or you'll have to pay," George glares and chuckles to himself. The blonde isn't the best at keeping things safe, so he nervously laughs.

There's silence as they read the story; the silence almost being unbearable if it wasn't for George's company. Even if there's awkward silence, he seems to lessen it. Dream looks up from my book and see George's eyes rested on the pages of his book, a calm expression on his face. This isn't the first time Dream has seen him reading, yet he still admires him. He's perfect.

"What?" George says suddenly, his eyes on Dream while he was zoned out looking at him. The blonde sees a cold, yet nervous, expression on his face now.

"This is so boringggg," Dream drags his words out in attempt to mask the fact that he had been staring directly at George for at least a solid minute.

"I agree, but we have to do this," George says, averting his eyes from the boy in front of him. "What page are you on?"

"Twenty," He says quietly.

George snaps his head up at him with a concerned expression. "Only page twenty?! What the hell, Clay?"

He nervously runs his hands through his hair. Page twenty was hardly an achievement for a book with over 100 pages. "I'm sorry," Dream whines, "I don't like reading."

"Would you rather me read it to you?" George laughs, likely not being serious. Dream looks up to him again with a hopeful expression, though.

"Yeah, actually," He plants a smug expression on his face and sets the book down flat on the table, attention on George. He looks away, blushing, which makes Dream feel warm on the inside. He smiles to myself.

"I was kidding," George says, trying to look angry in a friendly way. "Now read!" He whisper-yells at the blonde. Dream wheezes at this, receiving shushes from George as well as the other person in the room. He's so distracted that Dream didn't notice that they aren't alone.

The two of them spend the next half hour reading, occasionally glancing at each other and complaining about having to read the story. Neither of them like English very well, though George likes to read. They spend some time talking and Dream gets to know George better. It seems that a lot has changed since the summer. Many of his hobbies being the most impacted. Dream is still too nervous to bring up the summer though.
