Mourning a Hero

Third Person Pov~

The day after the incident involving the villain The Queen, the UA student Y/n Midoriya and The Pro Hero Hawks, all classes at UA, sports events and other events were canceled to serve as a Day of Silence in honor of Hawks. Principal Nezu decided to postpone The Sports Festival that would have happened next week and decided to host the event a month later so the staff at UA can upgrade the security even further and to give one of his most promising first years' time to recover from the traumatic event that occurred. Y/n was admitted to Musutafu Hospital and as soon as they were made aware of his condition, his mother Inko and brother Izuku made their way to the hospital as fast as possible. Not long after his family heard about his condition, Y/n's entire class showed up at the hospital, all of them wanting to see if Y/n is okay, even the Bakugou siblings showed up. 

Time Skip~

"We can't see him?!" the entire class gasps as they stand in front of the receptionist desk, "Unfortunately, Mr. Midoriya has requested that he receives no visitors" the receptionist explains. "The hell is his problem? He gets kidnapped out of nowhere and now he doesn't want anyone seeing him?" Kazumi growls, "Probably too embarrassed to face us because he got kidnapped like some kind of damsel in distress" Bakugou smirks, earning a smack his sister on the back of his head. Before the siblings can start arguing, Izuku walks into the lobby, silencing the two hot headed siblings and gaining the attention of Class 1-A. "Everyone came? Kacchan? Kazumi?" he gasps in surprise, earning an annoyed huff from Kazumi and Bakugou. "Is Y/n okay? They said he isn't receiving any visitors. What happened?" they bombard Deku with questions but he simply shakes his head. "We don't know....... he won't even let us into his room" he reveals, "Wait, you're his family and he doesn't even want you in there? What the hell is going on?" Rumi growls in frustration. "Why was he taken?" Ilda questions, "Who was it that took him?" Momo questions and after she finishes, the rest of the class bombard Deku with questions again. "Guys, guys! He said he doesn't know. This is a hard time for him, don't add more on to it" Erin yells over the classes questions, silencing them. "She's right.... we're sorry Midoriya" Kaminari apologizes, "It's okay really. I just wish I could tell you more" Izuku rubs the back of his head. Suddenly, Izuku and Y/n's mother appears behind him with a distraught look on her face. "Mom? What's wrong?" Deku worries as she pants heavily from running to the lobby from upstairs. "It's Y/n" she says grimly.

Inko Midoriya leads her son and his classmates up to Y/n's floor and as soon as they open the door to the wing, he's in, they could hear why his mother panicked. Y/n is screaming an ungodly wail of agony from the room on the far right, there are nurses and doctors trying to open his door but they don't seem able to get in. "What's going on?!" Inko questions the doctor as he tries to unlock Y/n's door with his keycard but it doesn't work, "We don't know, we can't get in and we saw his heart rate on the computer, it's beating fatally fast" he explains as he tries the card again but nothing. "He's dying in there help him!" Jiro exclaims at the doctor, "I'm trying!" the doctor shoots back as he slams his shoulder into the door but it doesn't budge. "Hang on Y/n, we're coming!" Denki calls out to his friend, "Get the damned door open!" Kazumi growls at the doctor as he continues to try to slam open the door. "The lock is jammed, it won't open!" the doctor exclaims as tries to work the card again. "Hold on baby, I'm right here. Just hold on!" Inko tries to reassure him through the door but his screams only get worse and worse, "I'll kick the damn thing down!" Rumi growls as she goes to the door but before she can, Bakugou grabs the doctor by the shoulder, throws him to the side and raises his hand to the door. "Get back!" he orders the group as he lights his sweat and blows the door into splinters. When the smoke clears the doctor, Y/n's mother, brother and his classmates rush in to see Y/n writhing around on his bed, his back is bloody and his veins are visible all around his body and are a deep red color. "What's happening to him?" his mother sobs as she rushes to his side, the doctor goes to the other side and checks the machines Y/n is hooked up to. "His body is fighting against a foreign substance in his body and it's losing" the doctor explains as he tries to check on Y/n but he's moving around too much. "Hold him down!" the doctor orders the students, in an instant, Deku, Rumi, Ilda, Kirishima, Denki, Miyuki, Shoji and Sato have their hands on Y/n, pushing his arms, legs, chest and head down against the bed. "How's he so strong!" Sato grunts as he tries to hold Y/n's arm down, Shoji wraps multiple of his arms around Y/n's other arm and still struggles to hold him down. "I could try to freeze him?" Miyuki suggests, "No! His veins are sticking out too much, you could freeze his blood in place and kill him" the doctor rejects her idea. "C'mon Y/n, you're not making this easy on us" Rumi winces as she holds his chest down, "AHHHHHH!!!!!" Y/n screams in agony as he manages to free his arm from Sato and in an instant, he hardens it and swings his hardened arm around in a wild flurry. "Watch out!" Kirishima exclaims as he hardens and catches Y/n's arm before it slams into Deku's face, "Whoa! What're you doing Y/n? It's us!" Kirishima grunts as he holds Y/n's hardened arm back with a lot of effort. "His body is in great pain and wants to writhe around but you're restricting it so it's fighting back" the doctor explains as he tries to put a syringe of sedative in Y/n's restricted arm but he hardens it as well and breaks the needle. "Wait you said his body is fighting back?" Izuku questions with wide eyes and everyone looks back at Y/n's mouth which opens wide and snaps his teeth angrily. "Don't let him bite his hand!!!" Izuku orders the others as he moves from holding Y/n's stomach down to the arm Kirishima is holding. "Is he trying to transform?" Kazumi questions, "Transform? What do you mean?" the doctor questions as he tries to sedate Y/n again. "Y/n's quirk gives him the power to turn into a giant monster if he bites his hand, if he does that and he's not in control of himself, he'll destroy this whole hospital!" Izuku explains, making the doctor's eyes grow wide. "I can't get the sedative in him, this crystal forms everywhere I try to put the needle in" the doctor growls as he breaks another needle. Suddenly, Y/n clenches his fists tightly and starts to move them, "Help us!" Rumi orders the rest of class 1-A and every member of the class jumps on Y/n and tries to hold him down. "There's no way he can move with all of us holding him down, right?" Mineta questions as he places balls on Y/n's arms and sticks them to the bed. "There's no way!" Ojiro groans as he tries to hold Y/n's leg down with his arms and his tail, "Dark Shadow hold him down!" Tokoyami calls his quirk and the shadow like bird emerges from his chest, "On it!" the shadow smiles and holds Y/n's chest down alongside Rumi, Toru, Momo and Jiro. "It's like he's as strong as his titan form but in his normal body!" Sero exclaims as he wraps his tape around Y/n's arm and pulls it down. "You damned nerd, snap out of it!" Bakugou growls as he pushes down on Y/n's leg, "I said I wanted to fight your titan but not like this you idiot!" Kazumi yells at Y/n as she holds his head back against the bed so he can't bite himself. "Mom get out of here" Izuku orders their mother but she seems reluctant to leave her suffering son behind, "Mom please!" Deku begs her. She nods and leaves the room sobbing as Class 1-A holds her son down. "He's breaking free!" Mina shrieks as Y/n manages to lift both his arms despite the restrictions and manages to sit up on the bed. "Y/N NO!!" they all exclaim as he explodes in a cloud of steam, sending the class of 1-A flying into the walls of the hospital room. Izuku manages to look up in time to see Y/n with his eyes rolled into the back of his head, he shakes and shivers madly as he raises his hand to his mouth, "Don't do it Y/n!" he begs his brother but Y/n's body's natural defense system has taken control of him and he goes to bite his hand. Y/n's teeth barely touch the skin of his hand and his entire body jerks upwards, he lets out a pained groan, his eyes roll back to normal and he falls over face first into the bed. Y/n's back then begins to bleed even more and rips open, his body releases a sickening ripping sound as his back rips open and something red sticks out of the two large cuts. "What the-" Kaminari questions as Class 1-A watches as in a flash, two massive crimson wings unfurl from Y/n's back and spread out wide.
