Nobodies POV
Later. Before the last task.
Harry walks up to Ezra. "Hey Ezra." Harry says
Ezra turns and he smiles. His face was covered in paint. Harry laughs. "You look ridiculous Ezra." Harry says
Ezra shrugs with a small laugh. "You should see mom and dad." Ezra says
Suddenly Liza and Elijah appear and they look ten times worse then Ezra. "I don't know how they look worse." Ezra says
Harry suddenly tears up and he hugs all three of them. "Oh." Liz says, smiling and meeting Elijahs eyes, her heart warming.
Harry finally had a family that loved and wanted him.
Ezra smiles. "Thank you guys, this means the world to me." Harry sobs
Elijahs heart breaks and he tears up. This kid was the only thing he had of his brother and it hurts that he's suffering.
"Come on baby cousin, let's all grab something to eat before the big tournament." Ezra says
Harry sniffles and he nods.
....
Hogsmead. The Hog's Head, the pub.
Harry smiles as Elijah teases his wife. "Okay enough fire whiskey Eliza." Elijah scolds
"Yeah Eliza, enough." Ezra jokes and snatching his mother's glass. "Ezra." Elijah and Liza scolds.
"Wow Ezra, in front of your parents." A voice scolds
Ezra gasps, recognizing the voice, he stands and he jumps into Charlie Weasleys arms.
"Charlie." Ezra exclaims
Charlie chuckles and he clutches Ezra's legs. "Hey babe." Charlie whispers
Ezra smiles and he pulls back, kissing Charlie. Charlie smiles and he sets Ezra down.
Charlie turns to the Potters and he smiles at them. "Mr. Potter, Mrs. Potter, it's lovely seeing you again." Charlie says
Elijah smiles. "Honey, I told you a thousand times to call me Liza." Liza says
"Sorry...Liza." Charlie tests
Ezra smiles, leading Charlie to an empty seat.
....
Later.
Music is playing and a large crowd is gathered.
The champions emerge.
"Earlier today Professor Moody placed the tri-wizards cup deep within the maze. Only he knows its exact position. Now as Mr. Diggory..." Dumbledore says
The crowd cheer on hearing his name.
"and Mr Potter tied for first position they will be the first to enter the maze." Dukbledore syss
Ezra cheers loudly, jumping at his seat, only to stumble. Elijah quickly catches his son, shaking his head in exasperation.
Ezra giggles clapping his hand. Charlie looks down at his boyfriend fondly.
"I love you." Charlie whispers against Ezra's ear, making him freeze in complete shock, his heart dropping.
Everything disappearing.
The field was completely silent.
"What..." Ezra breaths
But suddenly Dumbledores voice broke the silence. The cheers of the crowd, breaking the peace.
But Ezra continued to stare widely at Charlie.
The bulgarian crowd go nuts.
"The first person to touch the cup will be the winner. I've instructed the staff to patrol the perimeter, if at any point should a contestant wish to withdraw from the task he or she need only send up red sparks with their wands. Contestants, gather round." Dumbledore says
To the contestants.
"In the maze you'll find not dragons or creatures of the deep. Instead you'll face something more challenging. You see, people change in the maze. Oh find the cup if you can, but be very weary you could just lose yourselves along the way." Dumbledore says
"Champions! Prepare yourselves." Mad-eye says
Cedric hugs his father.
Harry turns to his cousin and he hugs him, startling him out of his shock, which breaks him out of his staring contest with Charlie who was looking at him in worry.
Ezra smiles and he returns the hug. "Stay safe." Ezra says
Harry smiles. Harry makes his way over to the other contestants.
"On the count of three...ONE..." Dumbledore starts
The cannon goes off. Mr Filch shrugs comically. Dumbledore groans.
....
Harry and Cedric enter the maze through different entrances.
The entrance closes up behind Harry. Heavy mist sets in, we pan out to see the maze is many stories tall. Harry starts traversing the maze, creature noises are all around.
Cedric is walking along, the maze walls begin to close in on him. He makes a run for it. Fleur is running around scared, she is attacked and knocked down.
Viktor comes along and sees she's unconscious on the ground, he walks on. Harry sees Fleur being swallowed into the undergrowth.
"Fleur? Fleur!" Harry yells
He's too late she's disappeared. He sends up a red spark into the air. A heavy wind starts blowing, walls are closing in, Harry runs. Harry sees something shining in the distance and he moves towards it Viktor tries to zap him but misses.
"Get down!" Cedric yells
Harry ducks and Viktor gets zapped by Cedric. Cedric runs up and kicks the wand out of Viktor's hand. He points his wand at Viktor's body as if to finish him off, Harry runs up and intervenes.
"No stop! He's bewitched Cedric." Harry says
They struggle. "Get off me!" Cedric yells
"He's bewitched!" Harry yells
The two of them begin running towards the cup. The undergrowth grabs Cedric and he falls to the ground.
Harry looks back. Cedric is pinned down with no means of escape.
"Harry! Harry!" Cedric yells
Harry zaps the plantlife and Cedric wriggles free. Harry helps him up.
"You know for a moment there I thought you were gonna let it get me." Cedric says
"For a moment so did I." Harry says
"Some game huh?" Cedric ask "Some game." Harry says
The wind starts blowing again.
"Go. Take it, you guys saved me!" Cedric yells "Together, on three. One, two, three!" Harry yells
