The next day. 4 in the morning.
Ezra was rushing around the room with shakey legs, collecting his things and quickly dressing at the same time.
Ezra curses as he stumbles.
Ezra checks to make sure Ben didn't wake up and he exits the room and out the house.
....
The Potter household.
Ezra walks into the manor, he knows his parents were home so he didn't worry about being quiet.
Suddenly he hears a soft clap and he sighs, turning around to see a very amused Harry. "Okay yes, I was out late...wait why are you up so early." Ezra asks
Harry tenses and he scoffs. "No reason." Harry squeaks
Ezra hums suspiciously. "Okay if it's weed, keep the window open and if it's alcohol, there's mints and Advil in my bathroom and make sure too lock your door." Ezra says
"I'm fifteen." Harry says
Ezra crosses his arms and he lifts an eyebrow, making Harry sigh and lift the fire whiskey from the ground. Ezra chuckles, shaking his head.
"And tell Ron that I said hi." Ezra says "how do you know he's over." Harry asks
"You've got a piece of chicken on your collar." Ezra says "weirdly observant." Harry says
Ezra smirks and he walks off.
....
Later that day.
There was a soft tap on Ezra's bedroom door. "Come in." Ezra yells out
Elijah enters the room. "Oh hey dad." Ezra says
Elijah lifts an eyebrow. "Really, hey dad?" Elijah asks, sarcastically.
"Yeah mom said that too, I don't know what that's about." Ezra says playfully
Elijah rolls his eyes and he sits down one Ezra's bed. "Are you okay kid, we haven't heard much from you." Elijah says
"Sorry dad, but it was just two weeks, I've got over it and I went out with Xander. I'm fine." Ezra says "I'm glad Ezra, your mom and I were really worried." Elijah says
"I never meant to worry you guys." Ezra says
Elijah sighs. "I know, but checking up on you wasn't the only reason why I came up here." Elijah says serious.
"What's wrong." Ezra asks
"Since your eighteen, your old enough to make good decision. We'd like you to consider joining the Order." Elijah says
"Yeah of course dad, if it means helping Harry, I'd love to join." Ezra says
Elijah smiles. "Your a good kid, but think this throughly, and you can't tell Harry just yet, we want him to be a kid for as long as possible and after what happened with Cedric, he needs the summer to be a kid." Elijah says
"Are you sure we should keep this from him." Ezra asks "he's fifteen and he'll find out at the end of the summer." Elijah says
"Fine but if he gets mad because we kept it a secret from him, I'm blaming you." Ezra jokes
Elijah chuckles. "Okay kid, now clean this room, it's a mess." Elijah says, standing and leaving the room.
....
"You hooked up with Ben." Killian shouts over the phone.
Ezra cringes. "Yeah sorry about that." Ezra says
How did he even get this number. "It's fine, it's actually funny. And sorry about the surprise phone call, Xander gave me your number." Killian says
Ezra chuckles. "He's going to get me killed one day." Ezra jokes
