....:::: One And A Half Years Earlier::::....

"Come on, I can't believe you've never heard of Omegle." My best friend Aria said as she bounced on my bed.

"What? I try not to venture to the creepy side of the Internet." I replied with a shrug of my shoulders.

"Nothing's really weird about Omegle." She said before picking up her tablet.

I rolled my eyes as she tapped away on the screen before shoving it in my hands, pulling my laptop off my crossed legs, and insisting I try it out.

You're now chatting with a random stranger. Say hi!

I raised an eyebrow at the greeting alone, and Aria waved her hand dismissively.

Stranger: M

You: F

Stranger: Age?

You: 23

Stranger: From?

You: Illinois

Stranger: 16 horny Minnesota

"Really, Ari, nothing's weird about Omegle?" I replied just as I clicked new chat.

"You're just getting started; it'll get better, I promise." She said, pushing the tablet back into my hands.

I huffed and sent her a glare before clicking on yet another chat.

You're now chatting with a random stranger. Say hi!

Stranger: Hey

You: Hi

I laughed as we sent the message at the same time.

Stranger: You horny?

You: Um

I quickly exited the conversation as I glared at Aria, who was laughing extremely hard.

"This is so not my thing," I said as I tried to hand her back her tablet again.

"Just give it one more try. You'll find someone interesting...eventually." She insisted, refusing to accept the device.

"No way. I think I've had enough of your side of the Internet." I replied, holding up my hands in surrender.

"Okay, how about a bet." She suggested, and I couldn't help my piqued interest.

"What kind of bet?" I asked skeptically.

"You beat me in a game of Five Nights At Freddy's 2, and I'll leave it. If I win, I change your interests on there, and you have to chat for two hours." She offered.

"One hour." I corrected.

"Two."

"None," I stated.

"Okay, one." She caved with a pout.

"Deal."

****

"You stupid dumb piece of shit!" I cursed loudly as I nearly threw Aria's tablet across the room.

I glanced at her to see a smug look as she typed away on my laptop, exchanging it for her neglected tablet.

"Why do I feel as though I just sold my soul?" I asked cautiously as she handed me back my laptop.

"Because you did." She replied creepily.

"Screw you, toy Chica," I muttered, turning my attention to the screen.

You're now chatting with a random stranger. Say hi!

You both like 50 shades of grey.

"Aria!" I yelled, and she laughed like a maniac.
