Chapter 7~Juggling Men

"Becca, Becca, wake up, hun." Aria shook me awake, and I grumbled as I looked up at her before rubbing my face.

"What time is it?" I asked, slightly confused as I tried to remember how I got to bed.

"You're late for work." She replied.

"Ugh... I'll call off today," I mumbled, turning over and burying my head under the covers to stave off the impending headache.

"Good, I did that already. You were a mess last night, and honestly, you look like shit right now, but that's why I'm yours for the whole day. I'll give you an hour, but after that, it's distraction time." With that, Aria closed the curtains we had left open and ensured the lights were turned off before leaving me to rest for a few more hours.

The alarm I set before returning to sleep brought me from a rather good dream two hours later. I sat up, ran a hand across my face to try to wake myself up, and hopped out of bed for a nice shower after failing. Once I got out, I dried off, put on clothes, and went to Aria's house next door.

"I'm up and all yours, do what you wish with my body!" I said as I came inside but stopped short when I spotted who I guessed to be Dylan sitting on the couch, looking somewhat confused at my dramatic entrance.

I couldn't stop my laughter and was doubled over and holding my stomach when Aria came from the back where her room was.

"Dylan, this is my lover Rebecca. Becca, you already know Dylan." He looked between us with an amused expression, and I winked playfully at him.

"So, what are we gonna do today?"

"What have I gotten myself into." Ari and I laughed as the tech worked on his feet.

We had decided to get our feet and nails done for once, and then when we were finished, we would find a Barnes & Noble to goof around in, for old times' sake.

"Consider this your initiation into our sacred friend group." I laughed before my phone buzzed with a message from Dallas saying, 'Cover for me.'

I chuckled and rolled my eyes before sitting under the lights so my nails would dry. Once we were all finished, we went to grab food before going to B&N.

"What do you guys even do here?" Dylan asked as Ari and I went crazy.

"Have fun, joke around, judge the new books, and take pictures of the ones we want to illegally download on our phones because books are too expensive right now," Aria explained with a shrug.

The look on Dylan's face was priceless as we walked up and down the aisles taking pictures of books we wanted when the workers weren't around. After leaving Barnes & Noble, we went to Knocker Ball, a fun little arena where you run around with hampster ball harnesses, knocking people over.

I wasn't sure how long we were there, but my phone vibrating had me calling time out as I pulled it from my pocket.

"H-hello?" I asked, completely out of breath as I let the ball weigh me down a bit.

"Sup chick." It was Dallas, and I smiled.

"So what's with the backup text?" I questioned, bouncing against the wall as I spoke.

"Well, you know the triplets, right?" She started.

"Oh, the three hotties that work for the East side that you're not supposed to be messing with, but like anyway?" I smirked.

"Yes... Them." We both started laughing.

"I'm listening."

"I'm at their house, they locked my phone, and I told the family I was with you and Carter." She explained, and I oh'ed.
