I woke up the following day full of energy for only getting an abysmal amount of sleep. I rolled out of bed, swiftly going through my morning routine before grabbing my work bag and purse, putting on my shoes, and heading out of the door. When I got to the gym, I had to work with Beth today, and the workout went exceptionally well, and I even had spare time before Ben was due in.
I did my three-minute ab busters and started a mild workout on the equipment afterward. I bobbed my head to my music before a hand touched my shoulder, causing me to tense as I choked on a scream. I cursed as I snatched my earphones from my ears, turning to face the guy I had run into yesterday.
"Holy shit," I muttered, crossing my hands over my pounding chest.
"I was hoping to catch you before you got your next one. Maybe I can squeeze in a workout with you?" He asked.
I looked him up and down with a raised eyebrow, taking in his sculpted figure and large build.
"Yeah...you don't really need to work out, like ever," I replied, and he let out a laugh.
"Thank you, but I still want to get a workout in." He said.
"Let's get to it then."

We worked out and talked until Ben came then he left. Today was a light day for Ben, and I could already see the progress we were making with him. After Ben left, I took in Hannah because Bridget needed to leave for a doctor's appointment. 4 o'clock came, and I showered in the back before putting on the clothes Aria had picked, which consisted of black leggings, lavender ballet flats, and a cute lavender peplum top that had been buried in my closet for years. I ran my fingers through my hair as I stepped out of the gym, looking left and right before crossing the street to Leanardo's, where we said we would meet.
I sat at the bar and wasted time playing games on my phone while waiting. I sipped on the martini I ordered for about half an hour before I sent him a text, only to not receive a response. I sighed and ordered another drink, sipping it slowly once it arrived before deciding to finally go home after I finished it. I kicked off my shoes as soon as I got in the door and made a b-line for the kitchen to fix something to eat. I was mid-meal when a knock on the door made me jump.
"Who is it?' I asked, going over and placing my ear to it.
I would say it was Aria, but she had a key and would likely just barge in if it was her.
"Who do you think it is?" Upon hearing said woman's voice, I laughed and opened the door.
"Where's your key? Usually, you're eager to use it?" I questioned with a raised eyebrow.
"Left it at home in my rush to get over here. How was your date?" She asked, coming into the house and finishing off my food.
"Well, he showed up at the gym today, and we worked out," I stated with a shrug as she helped me clean the dishes.
"He so likes you!!" She squealed, dropping the rag she was using to dry the bowl.
"Yeah, which is why he stood me up for drinks, right?" I replied nonchalantly, and she gaped in disbelief, her eyes the size of saucers.
"No fucking way?"
"Yes, way," I answered, and she grumbled.
"Well, screw him; you still have your boo." She instantly perked up, and I rolled my eyes at her.
"He's not my boo." I insisted, and she was the one to roll her eyes this time.
"Sure, he's not."
"Why are you even here?" I asked, and we both broke out laughing.
