Chapter 8

Lucina's POV

He has feelings for me? What??? I never thought that he had feelings for me. But it all makes sense now. Everything he said to me and him kissing my forehead. To be honest, I feel the same way towards him and I'm not sure if I should tell him. What should I do ? I should just say it . Here it goes.

"Cloud."

"Yes?"

"This is gonna be hard to say but-"

"You don't feel the same way. I understand."

"No! It's not that. I actually do feel the same way. I just think that we should know eachother even more before we ... You know ."

"Yeah , i do." Finally I let that go! It was such a relief. It feels like 20 pounds off of myself.

"Well Lucina , we're here."

"Oh alright." We get off the motorcycle and start walking forward until we get there . We both have our sword in hand just in case anything happens.

~~~~~Few moments later~~~~~~~

"Woah watch out!!" Cloud picks me up and runs out of the way.

"What happened??"

"Kadaj. He has a gun."

"Shit , lets do this!"

"You got it." We both run towards Kadaj and his gang , but we both trip and fall.

Cloud's POV

And we fell. Yay , i guess? There is so many children in front of us. Wait is that...Denzel!! Why is he here with Kadaj? I grab Lucina's hand to show her she's safe with me .

"Ahhh, and what do we have here?" Kadaj says.

"It's a girl. It's not like you haven't seen one." I said.

"You see this man? He's our big Brother! He likes to think that he's not part of the family! But he's what we call , the black sheep." Kadaj says speaking to the children he kidnapped here. I lunge forward at Kadaj and try to hit him but he jukes it . He's on the tree so I jump and go and try to strike. We both clash swords and try to keep hitting one another. Out of the corner of my eye , I see Lucina fighting Yazoo and Loz . I focus back onto fighting Kadaj but I can't help thinking about what she said to me . We both feel the same way about eachother. As I think of that , I feel my morale building up as I fight . I jump off the tree branch to go and try to help her . Right when she was on the ground hurt , I got pissed the fuck off. Yazoo was about to hit her but I blocked the hit with my sword and pushed it back at him. I hit Yazoo a few times and charged up my sword by holding it skywards and hit it with him . Right after I did that , Yazoo and Loz ran away after that. I kneeled down on the floor and checked to see if she was okay. "Lucina? Are you alright?"

"I'm hurt." She showed me where she was hurt and it was in her leg. Memories came flooding back of Aerith when she was stabbed in the stomach.... Forget about that Cloud!! Since I have the shortest temper in the world , I rage with a blue aura around me and go and strike Kadaj . I hurt him right in the stomach and he is very hurt. "Yazoo! Loz!" He calls. They both come running to his aid and carry him out of the forest. Finally they're gone. I run back to Lucina and she is crying with pain. I see a man with a red cape coming out of the forest .

"Long time no see."

"Vincent?"

"Yes. Let me help you guys." He comes and checks Lucina's leg to see the damage they caused her. "Follow me and carry her." I do as he says and carry Lucina in my arms and follow Vincent. I look at her and see her face extermly pale. I plant a kiss on her forehead like I did the last time. All of the color returns to her face as I did that. "Cloud, I...lo-." Right when she said that she blacked out .

Sorry I didn't update yesterday! I wanted to keep you guys on edge with what Cloud said to Lucina. I hope you guys are enjoying the story so far !!
