I laughed at this. It's been 7 years since I actually laughed like I used to. Well Lucina knows how to make a guy feel different.
"I'll steal as many as I need to."
"You should laugh more. It's cute when you do."
"As if. It's been 7 years since I've laughed. I don't laugh like I used to."
"Do it more often. I'll make you laugh more."
"Sureeee." I see Tifa coming up the stairs with the supplies for Lucina.
"I have the supplies for you sweetie. Now let me see your leg." Tifa walks up to Lucina and checks her leg.
"This is going to sting a lot because of how deep the cut is. I'm to put alcohol on the cut and then put a bandage on it."
"Alright then. Go ahead." Tifa puts alcohol on a towel and then puts it on Lucina.
"Shitshitshitshit!! It hurts like crazy!!FUCK!!! Are you almost done?! SHIT!" I grab Lucina's hand to see if she calms down at least a little bit.
"Does it still hurt?" I said
"Not that much. Now that you're here with me." She smiled at me with such joy. I just looked at her with love. Just so much love. I'm glad I'm with her.
"Wait wait wait. Are you guys...?" Tifa said
"Nonono it's not what you think." I said
"Hmmm. Alright. Okay I'm donee with putting alcohol on it. Now I'm gonna put a bandage on it."
"Okay. Just hurry. I want to walk again."
"Don't worry. It'll be quick." Tifa puts a bandage on Lucina's cut and she instantly feels better.
"Excuse me guys. I need to make a quick phone call to Vincent."
"Okay." Lucina says. I walk downstairs and go to my office. I dial Vin's number and wait for him to pick up.
"Cloud?"
"Hey it's me."
"I noticed. What happened?"
"How long do you think it will take Kadaj to recover?"
"Possibly weeks. When you stabbed him in the stomach , it looked like a very serious injury. Why do you ask?"
"I just wanted to see how long I can spend my time with Lucina."
"Ahh. Good luck Cloud. Is she okay by the way?"
"Yeah she woke up a moment ago."
"Alright then."
"Well bye then Vincent."
"Bye." I hang up the phone and start to think about what I'm going to with Lucina. If she can walk then I'll ask her out on a date tonight. But should I ask her the legendary question that every boy wants every girl to say yes to. I should consult Zack.
'Yoo Zack'
'Wassup Cloud?'
'Nothing. Some crazy shit has happened these past few days.'
'I know. I saw that battle you had a few hours ago. It was epic. You kicked his ass.'
'You think so?'
'Hell yes! I might think your stronger than me.'
'Zack your funny. No one is stronger than you.'
'No your funny. Just ask your future wife.'
