But his eyes. His eyes sent shivers down my spine, they were sadist, mocking me.
You know how in fairy tales there's always a monster? His worse far worse than the villain who poisoned snow white, or locked Cinderella up.
He haunted my dreams, chas...

"Spin till your dizzy. Drink till you cant remember why you drank in the first place. Become unattainable."
Elizabeth Decker,
I saw the way Valerie tensed up while Salvador forced on the fake smile of his, while Aaron smiled loving the awkward situation we were in. One of the girls who was speaking to a few of the men and woman kept staring my way and sending me dirty looks.
And honestly if looks could kill I would be six feet under. I honestly didn't know what her problem was or where the hell was Ace, as I gathered this was the most important event of his mafia and him not showing up meant that his mafia was weak or worse he didn't want to do the job.
But from Valerie's smirk I could tell she enjoyed seeing Ace struggle, and that honestly baffled me.
"Well till Mr Hernandez shows up how about a toast to the friendship between our families?" Aaron said finally relieving Salvador and Valerie of the awkwardness. The tension began lifting as we all toasted. I downed my champagne glass in one go.
I felt so belittled here. That I was nothing more but an object to signify something. Everyone kept looking at me and Valerie was right some were in admiration but some were not as the girl from earlier approached us with a smile so sly she looked like a viper hiding among a sea of roses.
Her black dress fitted her perfectly.
"Miss Hernandez, I wasn't aware you were back. This is such a surprise!" She said putting on her best show of the fakest smile I ever seen in my twenty one years of life.
"Well, I always love to pop out of no where. Shocks a few people." Val snaked her hand around my waist, shoving of Salvador as Aaron watched with amusement in his eyes while Salvador was ushered by some man to talk business. Talk that I should be listening in on.
"Ah who is the newest member of the El Drago Mafia?" She said, honestly the girl was so strikingly beautiful that I was in awe.
"This is my good friend Beth. We been travelling some time before I decided to re-join our society." I looked at Valerie confused as her, was it not just hours earlier where she threatened me? She tighten her grip as she looked into my eyes.
*Go along or I will kill you in your sleep tonight* They seemed to say as I gulped smiling.
"Hi I'm Beth its really nice to meet you..." I stretched out my hand as she shook it her poison green nails seemed to dig into my wrist slightly as I saw the snake tattoo on her forearm. Honestly I didn't know who to be afraid of. Val most defiantly Valerie she looks like she would enjoy my death and her mama certainly needs a reason to get rid of me.
"Arabella Marin. That's funny considering I haven't heard anything about you Beth. Tell me where did you two meet?" She asked testing me.
"At the club. Beth saw me preforming. Ever since then she was enchanted." Valerie replied before I could even process the question Arabella asked.
