Note: Naomi dies, but so far the FBI haven't I'm thinking of a way to kill them off though so I can get back on track with the story line. Also I won't be using the alias Aizawa got after the meeting with L because I have no idea what it is.

The kids all decided it would be best for Sayu to go home and get some rest for the day. Even though it may have been the wrong move to get Sayu involved, she had great potential in becoming a vital source of information.

As the large police building came into view, Emma pushed open the double doors cautiously, the others following behind, and subtly looked for possible escape routes simply from habit.

Emma trotted towards the front desk and put on her best smile, asking if there was anyone on the task force she could talk too. Norman was still trying to figure out who that lady from before was, and Ray was on guard, scoping out the area.

"One of the officers just got back, please wait a moment while I call them." The receptionist grabbed a phone that sat on the desk. "Yes, someone would like to see you. Hmm, I don't know, they just asked for the task force for the Kira investigation. That's right. Okay, I'll send them your way." The receptionist hung up the phone and turned to the kids sweetly, treating them like little children. Well, they were, but certainly not as helpless or dumb as one usually is.

"You can go through those side doors to the right, Aizawa will be waiting for you." The women pointed to double doors on her right, or the trios left, both work. The three of them left, Emma calling a small thank you over her shoulder before they got too far away.

As they pushed through the doors, Ray taking the liberties in holding the information they've gathered, they noticed the room was mostly empty. Sure there were chairs and desks set up for work stations, but there were only three investigators there.

A male, most likely in his mid thirties, sat in a messy desk. His hair was in a weird afro like style and he the dark bags that pulled at his eyes made him look like he could fall asleep at any moment.

"Hello Mr. Aizawa sir, we have information about the Kira case that we think may prove useful." Emma took the lead once again, taking the large envelope from Ray and setting it on the desk.

"The Kira investigation? What would you know about that? Sorry, but I'm pretty sure that whatever you have to offer has already been considered and carefully analyzed." He didn't seem like he was trying to be rude, but it definitely came off that way. Especially since he was agitated from sleep deprivation.

"I highly doubt that, see, we are deliverers for the detective REM. It would be most beneficial if you got this folder to L as soon as possible." Norman was polite, but he wore the smile that basically said 'feeling nice, might shoot you later'.

It wasn't that he didn't like Aizawa, well, he didn't, but that's not the only reason. The way he talked to them was as if they couldn't do anything, as if they were just like everyone else and what they had to say didn't matter.

Ray took this as an opportunity to take over, mostly because Norman was getting aggravated, and a mad Norman is not fun to deal with.

"Inside the envelope will not only be documents of REM's achievements, abilities, and clues to Kira's whereabouts, but also a secure online file to communicate digitally.  This will allow REM and L to pass messages quickly in case of emergency."  Though Ray doubted L would use it unless necessary, he might think it's a virus.

The look on Aizawa's face was picture worthy, it was a shame no one had a phone available to them.  He was probably thinking something along the lines of 'such young children working with an investigator? And they spoke so formally too!'.

"We have to get going now, but thank you for your time Mr. Aizawa!" Emma Piped in cheerfully before the silence was held out for too long. The sunny girl casually dragged the two boys out, and they made their way back to the library.

Sayu had just got home and she couldn't help but feel anxious as she walked up the stairs. She really didn't want to believe Light was Kira, but what could she do?

The only way she can be helpful was to try and get information. The only problem was that she was a terrible liar. Especially when it came to her big brother.

When Sayu had reached her room she flopped on the bed, head rushing with so many thoughts at once it felt like she was being swallowed up by her own mind.

Her whole body was shaking before she could realize she had begun a panic attack. She didn't even register the door opening to her bedroom.

"Sayu! Sayu, what's going on, are you okay?" It was her brother, Light, Kira. A murderer was in her room, but it was still her brother, right?

Sayu could feel Light's arms wrapping around her securely, and despite everything that's happened, and will happen, it calmed her. It had been 10 minutes before Sayu was able to breath well enough to speak.

"Come on, you can tell me anything, I am your big brother after all. I'm supposed to protect you." Light prodded softly, genuinely upset that his sister was this sad.

"Light? What if I die because of Kira? I mean, what would happen if I was framed, or I knew something I shouldn't. Kira doesn't only kill bad guys, Light, he also kills people who get in the way, and I'm so scared." The tears that had finally stopped only a moment ago had already welled up in Sayu's eyes.

"I promise that nothing will ever happen to you, I would never let Kira hurt you in any way. If you were framed I'd make sure no one would be able to find you. You can trust me." But Sayu knew she couldn't trust Light, and yet she did. She trusted that he would never, ever, hurt her.

What Sayu didn't know was that Ryuk had been laughing hysterically during the entire interaction.
