Normality Ends

Two weeks after my odd encounter everything was normal again. My shop assistant James was back from his holidays so it wasn't just me in the shop anymore which I hoped would deter any future demands of blind following.

4 more months had gone past with no more weird happenings. I had almost forgotten the incident. Until James took 3 days off to go to Scotland on a walking trip.

I had the same dream I'd had 4 months ago but this time I woke up in a cold sweat feeling like I'd been hit by a bus. This had gone away by the morning. I had considered staying at home but I had a big client coming in that could potentially make the business one people have heard of when I hand out business cards.

I walked into the store set up all the shiny new displays of our previously made websites. I even brought a new packet of biscuits to try and entice the client into working with us.

Then she walked in.

I recognised her straight away, those green eyes like none I'd ever seen before. This time she wasn't alone she had 2 women with her I couldn't see their faces they had hoods slung low over them. They were both of considerably taller than the girl with green eyes. They must have been at least 6 foot tall.

"I'm not in the mood for weird requests today I'm sorry you'll have to go away. I have an important client coming in"
"I was worried you might say that so I went away and found out what the protocol is for when someone says no. This time you have 2 choices, you either come out to the car and we will have a discussion whilst on our way or you can find out who we are when you get there."
"On the way to where? You know what never mind I'm not going and there's no way you can make me go, what are you gonna do knock me out."
I then heard a smack which later I found was the sound of my own body hitting the floor after they knocked me out with something I'm not quite sure what. Well, you can't say I didn't ask for it.
