Nadia POV:
I didn't sleep very well last night. It wasn't the fact that the bed wasn't comfortable or something because it was better than I'm used to although I do miss Leo's pegasus pillows, no it was the fact that I couldn't stop thinking about my friends.I ended up climbing out onto the thin ledge under the only window in the 5th year girls dormitory. I probably sat there most of the night looking at the lake and the forest and the stars. I would be lying if I said the view wasn't beautiful.
The forest reminded me of the one at Camp Half-Blood, full of dangerous creatures you shouldn't face unless you know you can, but I quickly pushed that thought out of my head, thinking about the past or things that make you sad is weak.
The castle the golden trio showed me last night was pretty cool I suppose, although it did seem a little old fashioned. The moving paintings were probably my favorite not including the room of requirement. I mean you can talk to dead people in them, think about how much that could be used at either of the camps. And the room of requirement changes into anything you want it to, I'm definitely going to use it to train and keep up my fighting skills while I'm here.
I heard rustling in the room so I climbed back through the window and in my bed closing my eyes and making it look like I had been sleeping. This is something I have done too many times to count in both the orphanage, camp, and the Argo ll.
It wasn't long until I heard "Nadia it's time for breakfast, wake up" from a clearly tired Hermione. I couldn't go to the window until very late last night because she was up reading for hours.
I opened the red curtains of the four poster bed I was staying in and pretended to yawn and stretch.
I didn't have anything to change into as this was an unexpected trip I hadn't packed for and although Hermione offered some of her robes she was shorter than me by a lot and none of her clothes fit.
I reattached my swords to my back, I hadn't taken my belt of daggers off as I didn't quite trust anyone here, and redid my ponytail.
Me and Hermione walked out of the dormitory before the others finished getting ready and met the boys in the common room.
"Why are you still carrying your weapons?" Ron asked.
I rolled my eyes at him and said "I don't trust any of you and I probably won't for a long time."
Ron turned red while Harry shrugged "Whatever let's go to breakfast then you have to get your supplies and we have to go to classes."
We all walked out the portrait hole and to the great hall, Harry, Ron, and Hermione in their strange school robes and me in my dirty Camp Half-Blood shirt.
As we walked through the hall the whispers and stares started, just as I expected. I glared at everyone who looked at me and causally rested my hand on one of my daggers.
We got to the table they were at last night and slid onto the bench. Ron immediately reached for the food shoving a little bit of everything on his plate before digging in, he reminded me of Percy in that regard.
As I half heartedly chewed on a piece of toast red haired identical twins with grins that reminded me of Leo's slid into the bench across from me.
"Hi I'm Fred" one of them said.
"And I'm George," the other continued.
