Panel 1.

At the top of this building there is a courtroom. We are inside in the pitch black, looking back through the large archway where we see the guard and prisoner are at the top of the steps. This is as far as the guard goes. Somewhere above us, there is a single line of light illuminating a pathway on the floor to a glowing dais. The prisoner, still shrouded in robes, is no longer held by the chain, but is still shackled at the wrists. The prisoner is walking along the line of light.

UNSEEN (OP): Ah, finally.

Panel 2.

We are behind the prisoner, henceforth known as Samael, who is a tiny figure on the dais before the huge curved bench of the Seraphim. The desk towers a hundred feet high that curves in a semi-circle around the room. We can see a set of glowing white eyes of the seraph sitting behind the bench. Each seraphim has three pairs of flaming wings which only outline the wings rather than illuminate the room. The Seraphim at the centre, is Seraphiel.

SERAPHIEL: Samael, you have failed your order by refusing to take up arms and rid this kingdom of those who oppose the love of God. Thus you have been charged with cowardice.

Panel 3.

Head and shoulders shot of Seraphiel, her six wings are starting to ignite and illuminate her. We can see she is smiling, a large and mad grin.

SERAPHIEL: But you can still be saved...

Panel 4.

Same shot but now the Seraph's wings are ablaze and this heavenly judge looks like a mad preacher as she now leans forward over the bench to look more intensely at the accused far below. This position gives her wings more space on the panel.

SERAPHIEL: You can still be forgiven...

Panel 5.

We are a few feet above Samael, looking down on him. Now the ground around the dais has been illuminated by Seraphiel's wings off panel, the ground around the dais is littered with dead angels who have been given the same choice and have chosen to kill themselves to earn God's forgiveness. Samael hasn't looked down, but the grim look of determination suggests he knows what he is standing amongst.

SERAPHIEL (OP): THROUGH SACRIFICE.

Panel 6.

Low down shot of the dead angels, this is a pretty grim shot of the self-harm they have done to themselves

SAMAEL (OP): If this is what you ask of those who didn't fight then I dread to think what happened to those who fought for Lucifer!

Panel 7.

Close up of Seraphiel's face, flame everywhere. All around her head. Her hair is literally fire flowing from her scalp, her eyes are white hot and smoke is seeping out of them as well as her mouth.

SERAPHIEL: IF YOU ARE SO KEEN TO DISCOVER THE FATE OFYOUR FALLEN BROTHERS THEN YOU SHALL SHARE THEIR FATE.
