Elliana and Spencer had both settled in at the bullpen, looking over the case file and taking more notes and throwing ideas off of each other for a while before Spencer got up and began to write across a whiteboard, leaving Elliana to sit and watch him quietly with a tilted face and slightly quirked eyebrow.

Elliana stood up and walked over behind him, watching as he began to write. "What are you doing?" She asked, just as Derek and Emily both walked in, eyeing up how Elliana and Spencer seemed to be interacting.

"Don't bother asking him." Derek announced, grinning at Elliana as she turned to face the two of them whilst they walked in. "He gets in his own way when he starts."

Emily nodded and laughed in agreement so Elliana nodded too, stepping back from Spencer. "What did you guys find out from the families?"

"Not much." Emily began, "just that they'd been having some trouble in school recently, that's all." She explained, sitting down on a chair that was available for her to be in. "Wasn't too helpful."

They did notice how Elliana seemed to perk up slightly as Emily mentioned trouble in schools and hesitated a bit before turning to Spencer. "I'm borrowing your phone." She said, quickly, taking it and going to his recent calls, calling Garcia before he even had time to react.

"Challenge me, you ridiculously smart behavioural analysis." She began, sounding amused through her tone already.

Elliana laughed to herself and Spencer quirked his head slightly, obviously wanting to know what Garcia had meant to say to him but Elliana simply shook her hand to tell him to get back to work before speaking on the phone. "It's me, Garcia." She said, smiling a bit, not noticing how Emily and Derek were sharing looks between hers and Spencer's interactions. "Did the girls go to the same school?" She asked, to which Garcia confirmed. "Okay, can you check if there are any records with the school counsellors? See if they had the same one?"

Spencer, Derek and Emily all turned to look at her as she did so, Garcia speaking. "I thought you wanted me to cross reference therapists?"

"No, I did, but Prentiss and Morgan came back from interviewing the families and I think JJ will end up saying the same things. I think it's got to be a school counsellor, a female one. Maybe with a violent past, petty crimes that would've been in a sealed record from when she was a teenager, recorded past of abuse?"

Spencer's eyebrow's raised slightly as he stood up and leant in to the phone, Derek and Emily both snickering at how close he got to Elliana despite being the biggest germaphobe they knew. "Garcia, can you find hospital records? This person would've had a history of markings around the neck that are similar to those of being choked or strangled."
