Chapter 7: Melancholic

~Adira's POV

SUPREME COLLEGE was busy the whole week for preparations for the near Foundation day of our beloved school.

Each organization currently active had prepared presentation that could entertain the guests while we observed things to unfold.

And as planned, Winter auditioned the cheer dancing of our school, fortunately she was accepted. I was there when she showed off and I witnessed her potential to be one of them.

The classes were not shortened though some students from their respective classes were excused due to their obligations to execute and assessed the preparation.

It was a tiresome week, though I could say that the sweats were worth it seeing the outcome of the tiresome days.

I tilted my head as I read Loki's encrypted message for me. He rushed out of our room the moment our last schedule for the day ended.

The binary codes weren't that hard to read and so it didn't took long for me to pocket my phone back.

Sighing, I left the room and strode to the hallways until I reached the stairs leading to the greenhouse of the biology building's fifth floor.

How I hate climbing too high stairs but then, the Supreme College lack one thing; an elevator for the fast climb.

Stoic and cold, as well as careful, I climbed the stairs and felt my sweats formed in my forehead's surface.

My brows were already furrowed. Why of all available places that could be used, that pathetic one? Next time, I'll really set another and much better, faster to reach meeting place.

It took me a gazillion, I think? Until I reached the right floor. The clear window glasses welcomed me with green growing plants behind it.

The door was closed but I found out that it wasn't locked, when I kicked it a little. It swung open silently and the fresh, clean air filled my lungs.

The plants on the pot had grew a little taller than the last time I was here. For seconds, I was fascinated to look at the growing colorful plants full of life.

These plants are lucky for they are taken care of.

The green plants were beautifully swaying with the soft air. The whole place was peaceful and refreshing in the eyes that it made me heaved deeply.

I felt relief then.

I was just distracted when I heard the rustled of a guitar. I tore my gaze off the plants to look around and saw where Loki was.

In the far corner of the greenhouse, where a small bench just for two people, I saw a sitting guy with ruffled blonde hair and a guitar in his hands.

He was heaving deep while softly strumming the wooden instrument. Eyes slightly closed and one leg folded above another.

I felt my breathing came unsteady for the sight. I crossed my arms over my clothed chest and walked near him in a quite yet precised manner.

And there he was, the gifted certified fuck boy in full sight.

I knew that he felt my presence for his finger shortly halted from strumming but then it eventually continued until the melody was slowly formed.

The soft song was added to the peaceful ambiance of the greenhouse. I watched his clean, light and handsome face innocently matched the song.

His red kissable lips caught my attention, for it parted a little for the words to escape smoothly.

I've been to many places
I've met different races
I've seen so many faces
But it's you I can't forget
