~ADIRA'S POV

"By hook or by crook, you have to break the lethal steel wall of the Dean. Be the guest he never expected."

It has been a day since our last meeting, yet Cadmus' words still lingered on my head.

I'm currently fixing my trouser while facing my antique and expensive mirror that my mother brought years ago.

"But...I don't want to," I replied. "It would be epic, if ever he will catch me on my first day of pretending. I'm not really good when it comes to acting, I prefer the faster way; which is killing."

"I know well enough," he retorted. "But that could be learned, right? We'll help you, and aside from that, you just can't shoot him in the head."

"How I hate this, let's just think of something."

"We don't have a choice, Adi. It's now or never. Don't worry, we'll back you up." He smiled reassuringly. "I'll give you time, but not long enough. Maraming mag-aaply sa posisyon at baka hindi mo na makuha ang slot." I immediately wished that we'll be late.

I sighed deeply, remembering our conversation that ended up with Winter, asking us to go to their house. For her sister, Spring will celebrate her 20th birthday.

"Okay, fine! I'll think about it," I said, defeated.

Cadmus snapped his fingers in glee as Winter voicelessly screamed, while my face fell soar.

"By the way, what about the former secretary?" I remembered.

"Well——"

"I'll work her, leave her to me."

Suddenly, Loki butted in to the conversation. My head quirked towards him and I saw him watching us with his bloodshot eyes.
