One day they both came in and looked at me. I was waiting for them to hit me but instead, they told me something. It was one of the worst news I have ever gotten in my life...
"Legacy me and Tiffany are getting......married!" My dad said excitedly.

My heart stopped for a split second, I was broken on the inside, I wanted to cry but I couldn't because if I did my dad would know that I wasn't happy for them, and then I would get hit and..... I don't want to think about it. All that was going on in my head was did my dad really want to find someone else? I mean yeah I know my mom died but...... nevermind
I put on the fakest smile, and yes, somehow it was faker than Tiffany.
"Really?! Congratulations!" I said trying to sound as happy as I could...
"Thanks, kid!" Tiffany said happily. I feel like somewhere deep in my head I felt happy for them. I felt happy that my dad found someone that he loved, someone new,...maybe he was right. I am an ungrateful kid...
They came closer, I kinda thought that they were going to come and hug me, but instead, they beat me up like always, I feel like I should be used to it, but It would always hurt.
Let me tell you how a normal day would go...
- I would wake up around 8:30 am
-I would go to my bathroom, brush my teeth, etc...(it takes me 30 min)
- I would read boring books I found in the guest bedroom for like 2-3 hours
- At noon my "parents" would come and give me 2 granola bars and beat me (it took like 10 mins)
- Once they left I would draw instruments and other things in a sketchbook that was there and a pen I found under the bed
-Then like at 2 I would eat one of my granola bars so I didn't starve...
-Then for the rest of the day I would do whatever I felt like that day
-Then around 8:05 I would start to get ready to sleep. I would eat another granola bar, then brush my teeth etc...
- Then at 10:00 pm I would go to sleep
Then my day would start over again
That's how my life was for a long time
