I wake up with so much pain in my stomach. I open my eyes and I see Kelly and Charlie sitting down next to me. I think I'm in the hospital again? Déjà vu.
"Ugh" I groan in pain. Causing Charlie and Kelly to wake up
"Legacy?! How do you feel?" Kelly asks
"I feel like the hollowed rock Patric lives in fell on top of my stomach but apart from that, i'm hungry" I tell them honestly
They laugh. Then a doctor comes in. She looks familiar
"Hey Legacy!" The doctor greets. She was the one who attended me on the day of the dinner!
"Hey!"
"How have you been?" She asks me
"I could be worse!" I say pointing to my stomach
"Heh, you follow trouble dont you?" She asks
"Trouble follows me!" I say
"I'm starting to believe that" She adds
Kelly and Charlie laugh
"How bad is my stomach?" I say
"Well, you have 2 broken ribs and 1 that is bruised." The doctor explains
"Ouch!" Kelly mumbles
"So just rest and take deep breaths to prevent pneumonia"
"Okay. When can I leave? And can I still go to school?" I ask
"In a bit and no. Let one of your friends ask your teachers if they can give them the work that you need to do and have them take it to you so you can work on them at your house!" She suggests
"Ok"
We left the hospital and Kelly and Charlie took me to my house.
I carefully laid down on my sofa and took a deep breath which hurt a lot.
"Imma go to the Mexican restaurant down the street to get food! I will be right back!" Charlie says
"Okay thanks be careful" Kelly says from the kitchen. And I hear the door close
"Here!" Kelly says handing me a pack of frozen peas wrapped in a paper towel
"Where did you get this?" I ask her
"It was in your freezer" She simply says
"Never knew I had this" I mumble, making her laugh and she walks back to the kitchen.
I gently place the peas on my stomach and it hurts but in a good way.... :/
I take deep breaths which makes my stomach feel like 248,283,975 knives are going through it.
Then a few minutes later Charlie came.
"I HAVE FOOD!!!!" Charlie screams
"My ears!" I whine
"Oop! Sorry guys!" Charlie says then I hear the door close
"It's okay. But you almost made Legacy lose her ability to hear." Kelly says
"Sorry, when I was walking back I was planning on that grand entrance. It obviously didn't go as I wanted it to.." Charlie explains as he walks to the kitchen I think
"You got food right?" I ask Charlie
"Yup!" Charlie responds
"Noice" Kelly adds
We ate and I got so full that I knocked out on the couch
I woke up and Charlie and Kelly left. I looked at my stomach and the peas fell between me and the couch. I took a peek outside through my window and it was dark.
