Fifteenth Chapter: Flirting...?

I woke up in what looks like a hospital bed....? I looked around the room and saw Ace sleeping in a chair next to me.

"Ace?" I whisper

"Legacy! Are you okay?" Ace asked

"Yeah. Uhm what happened?" I asked him

"When I got to your house I saw a guy that was choking you. So I got out of my car and started running to you. Then he started punching you and you fell to the ground. Then I punched him and he fell to the ground. After that, I called the cops and ambulance." He explained

"Oh" I mumbled as I played with my fingers

"Who was that guy?" He asked me

"He was my step-dad" I told him

"Why was he doing those stuff to you?"          A/N "Ace is a Metiche"

"I don't know. He just told me that it was my fault but I don't know what he was talking about'' I tell Ace

"But you're okay?"

"Yeah. Wait what about the dinner?!"

"Right I told my parents what happened, not in detail obviously and they came to see you but you were still sleeping. They had to go to a meeting that was changed for today so they left" He told me

"It's my fault" I say looking up at the ceiling feeling so much guilt

"It's not your fault babe" He reassured me

"Looks like your girlfriend is going to be okay" A doctor says as she walks in the room

"Uh" I felt myself blush a little

"She's not my girlfriend I just call her that because....uhm"

The doctor looks with a raised eyebrow at Ace and he had this face: 0>0

"Well if I'm being honest you would make a good couple. But that aside you're going to be okay" She said referring to me

"Thank you. But when can I leave? I want pizza" I say

They start laughing

"Heh you can leave in a bit and you will hopefully get your pizza" The doctor told me

~~~A few minutes later~~~

Ace and I walk out of the hospital. I pull out my phone and check the time. Its 6:48 pm

"Do you think Dominos is still open?" I ask Ace

"Yeah. Do you wanna go?" Ace asks me

"Yessir"

We jump in the car and head to Dominos

"Can we go through the drive-thru?" I asked Ace

"Yeah I don't want to eat inside anyway"

We pulled up to the drive-thru voice box thing

"Thank you for choosing dominos. What can I get for you?"

Ace leaned back in the car chair and looked at me. I got a little closer to the drivers window getting ready to order

"Hi, can I get medium cheese pizza, medium pepperoni pizza, and 14 piece wings?" I ask

"Of Course is that all?"

"Um yes please"

"Your total is 32.97, please pull up to the next window"

"Thank you!"

"Im paying" I tell Ace as I pull out my credit card from my clutch

"No your not" Ace tells me
