*beep* *beep* *beep*

I groan and turn my alarm off.

"Mam! Mam!" I smile as I hear my daughter run into my room shouting for me. She jumps on my bed and snuggles into me.

"Well good morning my little peach." Her bright green eyes stare up at me and I tear up a little. She's so adorable. I melt into her tiny embrace and take in this moment we're having because I know I won't see her for a week after tomorrow.

I'm flying out to South Korea to stay with my brother and get settled before flying Tali out. She's so excited to move though, as am I. We need a fresh start away from this town we used to call home. It's not the same since Tali's dad passed away last year. So I thought we may as well move to where I'm originally from.

He was my husband. My everything. We'd been together since we were 15 and married at 20. I fell pregnant with Tali in college when I was 18 and she's now 6. I can't believe it. I miss him.

I felt a small hand touch my cheek and wipe away the tears I didn't realise were coming out my eyes. I looked at Tali, smiled and kissed her on the head.

"Ah Tali, next week, we'll be in a whole new country starting a new life. Are you excited?" I asked her.

"Of course I am mam! I'm gonna make so many friends and see uncle mikey again! I haven't seen him in so long!" she exclaimed. I giggled and took her hand.

"Let's go make some breakfast then missy." We got off the bed and went downstairs into our kitchen. I grabbed eggs, milk, bacon and sausages from the fridge and started to cook.

"Tali why don't you go stick the tv on and we'll eat in the living room yeah?" I asked her as I was plating the food. I even made pancakes because they're her favourite. Tali looked at me with her big eyes and ran into the living room to turn the tv on.

I stood there thinking about how this will be the last time I stand in this kitchen and make breakfast for my family, me and Tali. I smiled at the bittersweet moments that came flooding into my head. I shook my head, picked up the plates and walked into the living room.

The sight I came into was too precious. Ah this child melts my heart every single day. I got lucky with this kid. Tali was sat on the floor, surrounded by pillows, blankets and her RJ teddy that I bought her for Christmas. She takes it EVERYWHERE with her. She tried to take it into the bath once.

"Mam! Look at the little picnic area I made for us! But it's indoors!!!!" She screamed. I laughed and sat down next to her.

"Peach, I love it!" I booped her nose and looked at the tv to see what she had put on. I sighed and shook my head, strawberry shortcake re runs... again. She's lucky I love her. I can't even tell you the last time I watched an adult programme or had a proper adult conversation. I miss it sometimes. I would not change having Tali for the world but sometimes, I get lonely. Then I feel guilty when I know I shouldn't.

After breakfast, we got washed up and ready for the day. We were gonna go shopping and out for dinner with my mam and dad before we left. They're so sad we're going but it needs to be done. They're coming to visit in a few months when I've found a place for me and Tali to live so we don't have to stay with my brother the whole time. I also had to go hand my uniform in at the hairdressers I worked at since yesterday was my last shift. I'm really gonna miss them. They're my second family.

"Tali! Are you ready to go love?!" I shouted up the stairs to the 6 year old that takes ages to get ready.

"Yes Mam! I'm coming now!" She shouted back. I grabbed my bag and my car keys and stood at the door waiting for her. She came running down the stairs humming along to bts as they came out of her little iPod headphones.

"Hey, you need to turn that down before you damage your ears. If I can hear it then it's too loud missy." She rolled her eyes at me. "HEY! And don't roll your eyes you sassy child!" I poked her belly and giggled.

We walked outside to the car and seen our neighbour, Mrs James.

"Good morning Mrs James!" I shouted accross the hedge.

"Oh good morning Layla! I've told you to call me Abby." She smiled at me. "I've made some cookies, here you are dear." She's too sweet. She's always cooking and baking for me and Tali. I think she feels sorry for us after losing Tom.

"Thank you, Abby. I can't believe it's our last day living next to you!" I smiled sadly at her and took the cookies.

"You'll both be missed ladies. Anyways I must go. I hope you's have an amazing time in Korea!" She waved and then walked away.

"Let's go see grandma and grandad peach." I looked at her to see she wasn't even listening. Instead she had her headphones in and once again, listening to BTS. She is fully obsessed with them at this point. She is in love with jungkook and she thinks he's cute. Bless her little 6 year old heart. I'm hoping we can go to one of their concerts since we're moving to South Korea now. She'd be ecstatic.

I go back to focusing on driving and we make our way to the shopping centre.
