2 months he's been gone. Over these past 2 months we've FaceTimed, text and sent some well... naughty texts...

Anyways, I miss him. We aren't dating yet. It's for the best though, our relationship needs to start when we can fully commit to each other.

"Tali! Breakfast!" I shouted down for my daughter to come for her breakfast. It was her birthday next week and I'm so excited to throw her a party. She's made so many friends at school and I'm gonna throw her a surprise party with them all. She's gonna be so excited. I can imagine her little face. Ah my baby's growing up.

Little footsteps could be heard through the corridor and Tali came bouncing into the dining room.

"Good morning peach. I made us pancakes with fruit."

"Oooo we haven't have pancakes since Yoongi left! Are you happy Mam?"

"Of course I'm happy peach I have you!" I punched her chubby little cheeks and we sat down.

The pancakes suddenly sitting very heavy on my stomach, I ran to the toilet and only just made it before I threw up everything I had ate from the morning. Sheesh I haven't been sick in so long. Maybe I have a stomach bug?

I took my phone out of my pocket and rang my mam.

"Mam? It's Layla. Any chance you can take Tali to school I'm not doing so good."

"Are you okay sweetie?"

"Yeah I've just been sick that's all. I don't wanna chance it in case I have a bug."

"Of course love. I'll be over in 5 to pick her up."

"Thank you mam! See you soon."

Tali came running to me.

"Mam!!! Are you okay? Are you sick?"

"I think so peach. Grandmas gonna take you to school okay."

"Okay!" She ran off to get ready for school.

Ugh guess I'm ringing in sick to work. I quickly rang work and explained to them how I was. Thankfully I hadn't had a sick day yet so they were fine with it.

"Layla!! I'm here! Where's my little granddaughter?" I heard my mam shout from the front door.

"Grandma!!!" The little girl exclaimed. Her grandma bending down for a hug.

"I've missed you."

"I've missed you to grandma! Mam says you're taking me to school."

"I am, are you ready?" I stood at the kitchen door watching the scene in front of me. They melted my heart. Nothing compares to a bond you have with your grandparents. I do wish mine were still here.

"Thank you for taking her mam. Do you mind picking her up as well? I'm gonna rest all day."

"Why doesn't she just stay at ours tonight? Your dads bought a new projector and wants to have a movie night anyways and since it's Friday she may as well." I looked at Tali standing next to my mam.

"Do you want to peach?"

"Yes please Mam!! I wanna watch films and eat sweets!"

"Okay peach. I'll see you tomorrow okay?" She give me a quick hug and muttered goodbye and she ran out the door and got into the car.

"Thank you again Mam! I hope I'm feeling better tomorrow."

"It's okay sweetie. We love having her over." My mam smiled at me and waved a goodbye as she closed my door.
