"Okay, are you gonna do it, or should I?" Gabriel asked, rasp still present in his voice despite trying to clear his throat before voicing his question. Alex looked down at the short white-haired omega he considered to be family. He pulled the teen further into his side, impeding their pace a little as they walked down the open hallway.

"No, I'll have to do it," Alex answered, looking down at the white head of curls that was tucked into his side. Goosebumps raised on his skin both from the cold temperature, and the nostalgia of having the omega by his side once again. Gabriel hummed and okay as they continued walking.

They walked into one of the bathrooms that were just around the corner to escape the eyesight of any of the loitering students. The familiar stench of a highschool bathroom greeted the pair's noses and Alexander couldn't hold back a face of disgust at the smell. Gabriel reached up to his face and rubbed his eyes once again, this time watering from the putrid smell of urine and the aftermath of what could only be someone's bowel movement.

"God, I don't miss that smell at all," Alex commented as Gabriel chuckled before nodding."This is the reason why I try to limit my use of bathrooms despite the so-called great cleaning performed by the custodians." Gabriel nodded along to his son's comment. Alex looked down at the omega with merith in his eyes, missing his remarks and judgments he had grown used to. He pulled the teen's smaller body almost impossibly close before anything else could be said, luckily there were no other students in the stalls or else that would be awkward to walk into.

"Okay, let's continue this back at my new home," Alex whispered before wrapping his other arm around Gabriel, tugging the teen's face into his chest, closing off his view of his surroundings. Before the teen could respond Alex had muttered something under his breath so softly that Gabriel couldn't make out what exactly he had said, and the pair started sinking through the floor into the black void.

Used to this form of transport, Gabriel held his breath, closed his eyes, and tried to keep as still as possible until Alex loosened his grip. The omega looked up at his son and best friend, squinting his eyes in disapproval. Alexander reached up and scratched his head while he looked away from the scolding look the teen was sending him.

"Sorry, I was in a rush and didn't grab anything safer..." the half-fae male explained, his arm that was still wrapped around Gabriel loosened so he could step away. The teen let his feature smooth out into a neutral expression before he wrapped his arms around the fae's middle once again.

"Still as clumsy as you were when your mom first started teaching you how to use doors, at least I still remember our protocol." Gabriel huffed into his chest before banging his forehead against the center of his chest right between his two pecks. Alexander looked down with a smile on his face before he wrapped his arms around the omega and squeezed him as hard as he knew he was allowed. He bounced them back and forth like an old lady before picking the smaller teen up and walking over to his soft red couch. He sat Gabriel down softly on the left cushion before taking his spot on the right side.

"No need for the glamour, it's just you and me now," Gabriel hummed as he turned his body and leaned against the couch on his right side, crossing his legs comfortably as the fae did the same. Alex smiled as his features took a slightly inhuman perfection, not as much as most fae, of course, the man being only half-fae from his mother.

The omega took in the boy he had watched grow up and help become the man he was before he was separated from all those years ago. The dark purple-tinted black hair that was tied into a bun atop his head so much like his father's and his grey eyes that shifted into inhuman silver. His unworldly face stretched into a familiarly warm smile, his white teeth showing.
