"He's been so tired lately." Cedar fussed, worried about one of his best friends.

After Gabriel had gone upstairs and shut his door, his group of friends who were still eating started to talk about their days. The mood was fine until they started talking about the fourth period.

"He's fine Cedar, his insomnia is probably acting up again. He'll be fine later, give him a couple of days." Marzel tried to comfort his worried friend. Cedar nodded apprehensively, still concerned for his best friend who was sleeping upstairs.

"Anyway, this is really good! What did you put in the sauce?" Finn changed the topic by talking about the food they were eating, Marzel instantly beamed at the compliment.

"I actually was dazed while I was crushing the garlic and put in two cloves instead of one, I was worried that it was going to be too much. But when I tasted the cheese sauce it was really good so I left it alone." Marzel explained while grabbing a slice of cheesy garlic bread.

"Thank you guys for the food." Finn gushed as he used his last slice of garlic bread to soak up the cheesy goodness in his bowl.

"Your welcome," Cedar and Marzel said at the same time. They looked at each other for some seconds before they both started chuckling.

"Oh wow, that was funny. Stop that, you stop," they continued speaking at the same time, slowly making Finn laugh harder and harder.

Cedar threw a fake glare at Marzel before they both stopped speaking for a couple of seconds and then,

"Gunther's baby child Groot jr." came out of Cedars' mouth as Marzel stated,

"The devil's butt biscuits." Marzel kept eye contact with Cedar as confusion covered the redheads face.

"Butt biscuits?" Cedar questioned. He was answered with silence until Finn fell out of his chair gasping for air, sounding like a dying cat.

Marzel looked over his side to look at his friend who was sprawled on the carpeted floor. He shrugged and looked back to Cedar, who had stood up to look at their friend on the ground.

"He's fine," Marzel assured his friend, urging him to sit back down to finish his meal. Cedar chuckled and sat back down in his chair as Finn stayed on the floor trying to catch his breath.

As Finn was getting up, Cedar was grabbing the empty dishes off of the table. Finn mumbled a 'thank you' as his smaller omega friend pilled the bowls on top of each other, the silverware sitting in the top bowl, and started walking into the kitchen. He sat the dishes on the right side of the split stainless steel sink.

Cedar had just started unloading the dishes when Marzel stopped him.

"Nope. We made dinner, that means we don't have to do the dishes. Finn does." Marzel smirked as he pointed to their friend who was putting the glasses that were on the table previously, onto the counter.

"Wow... Just wow Marmar, way to throw me under the bus. I mean, I know the rules. But that's just harsh." Finn pouted as the other two laughed at his complaint, walking out of the kitchen after Finn shook his head at them.

Marzel walked to the table to grab his phone from his spot and continued to walk to the large L-shaped couch, laying down and going on one of his many games. Cedar followed him but grabbed the book that he forgot that morning, sitting in the corner on the other side of the couch by the wall. He curled into himself as he started to get into the book, slightly jittery at the intense moments.
