Chapter 10

Oh no. What if he gets weirded out? What if he tells me to get out? What if-  no, now wasn't the time for that. If I stayed silent for too long, he would think I was avoiding the question or something. I don't want to look like someone who always avoided questions all the time like a coward.

I'll tell him.
"If you don't want to say it, it's fine."
"No. I'll tell you what I also came here for. I wanted to get closer to you." I did it. I finally said it. Now, I have time to worry.
"Well, I'm flattered but are you sure you want to spend time with me?" Asked Kazuichi. Why was he thinking like that? He should have a positive mindset. It's better for him that way. I'm not forcing him to think positively, though.

"What do you mean? I'm already spending time with you." I said as I smiled at him. Then, his cheeks looked kinda pink. Was he blushing? It seemed like he realised that he was blushing, because he looked away while holding his face.
"Wow. You got over Sonia really quickly."
"Huh? I don't like you like that!"
"I never said you did." I giggled. It was funny to tease him like that. But I felt kinda bad.
"Well good. Because I don't." Kazuichi pouted childishly.
"Hey, don't be sad. I was just teasing you. I know you still like Sonia."
"I actually don't. I did get over her. But that doesn't mean I like you like that!"
"I know." I wanted to know what Kazuichi like about Sonia. Don't worry, I was just curious.
"You know, there are a lot of great things about Sonia. Which of them made you fall for her?" There was a short moment of silence.

"Sorry. I ruined the mood, didn't I?" I asked. Why am I always so nosy?!
"Huh? No, you didn't. I was just thinking of a response."
"So you didn't have a reason?"
"I did! I did. But I was thinking of how to say it." Well that made me feel stupid.
"I liked her because she's really kind. She cares for all her friends and she's also really pretty. You're kinda like her, in a way." I immediately felt my face go bright red. I looked down so he couldn't see it.
"Woah. Are you blushing because of something I  said?" Kazuichi asked. He sounded a little weirded out.
"I haven't received a compliment like that in a while, so it makes me happy." I said.
"Really? Then I'll compliment you everyday, so you can be happy everyday!" He seemed happy when he said that.
"Why are you doing this for me?"
"Because. You're a close friend and I want my friends to be happy." He smiled. I blushed again. He's so cute! After a few seconds of me screaming internally because of Kazuichi's cuteness, Monokuma appeared.
"Puhuhu. Sorry to ruin the moment, But I need you guys to go to Jabberwock park. I've prepared a motive for you guys!"
